It is a little harder than expected, but I feel like it will hold up longer being former. I got it for my daughters full loft bed, and it works perfectly for a loft bed, leaving a few inches for security. I put a cover on it to protect it. I've slept on it, and it definitely is cooling. I'm very happy with the purchase, and it was cheaper here than other sites. Make sure to put it on place before deflating since it is heavy.
