How I made it this long before purchasing my own copy of Sgt. Pepper is shameful. This remaster version sounds amazing on my Arcam DVD player to Sennheiser HD600's via Project Ember II hybrid tube headphone amp. The sonics on this recording are spot on and the stereo mix is crazy good! Reading the liner notes reveals that the Beatles were part of the mono mix and the original stereo mix was a slap-dash affair without their involvement. Thanks to Gilles Martin, Sgt. Pepper shines in full glory. If Best Buy sold vinyl I'd have bought that instead....

While I'm a firm believer that most times the original is best left alone, this stereo remaster of the classic Beatles album is well worth the 50 year wait. CD's of original analog recordings can often sound cold and hollow but this CD is NOT one of those. Giles Martin has done a PHENOMENAL job of remastering it. There are instruments that are unique to one channel and and vocals that sound 'live' for the first time in 50 years. Every tidbit from the original is included for posterity. You will not be disappointed!

I know it's heresy to say that I was never a fan of the Beatles but probably because I grew up when I was too young to appreciate what they did and the road they literally created and paved for future rock bands.
Having said all that, all the hoopla about this album and it's 50th anniversary re-issue caused me to buy ... my very first Beatle's album ever. And boy am I glad I did. To hear all those songs that they are now famous for ... AND MORE! Get your own copy of history in your ears!

"Sgt. Pepper" doesn't have to be your favorite rock album for you to recognize that it's probably the greatest rock album ever recorded. So it only makes sense to hear it with the greatest-possible sound quality. The extraordinary effort to record songs that wouldn't (couldn't?) be performed live has been rewarded with a second remastering within ten years, this time to mark its 50th anniversary. Upload these songs to iTunes and hear them jump out in contrast to the other CD tracks in your playlist.

I remember buying the LP the day it came out June 1 1967. It changed a whole generation and influenced every musician from that day forward. It started the psychedelic era just when Haight Asbury and all of the incredible music coming out of the Bay Area was happening the magic summer of 1967. Sgt Pepper puts the garbage music of the current generation to shame it is timeless...

Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is back and bigger, better, louder, and fully remastered in the 50th Anniversary version of the original studio album by the Beatles. It is truly a masterpiece. No albums from other singers or group cannot match Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

The Beatles' most iconic album has never sounded this good! For younger, new Beatles' fans (hello, Millennials!), this is the best of their albums to get you hooked on them for life, or even the one to build up to after collecting the band's older titles, a listening journey well worth taking! Enjoy in good company with a little help from your friends!

Unfortunately I was not alive when Beatlemania was taking over the world, but thanks to this amazing remaster I can enjoy their music the way it was meant to be. One of the greatest albums of all time sounds better than ever, a must have in any music collection.

I was hesitant about a new mix of this masterpiece rock album but my money was well spent. This mix is fantastic and it is what they would have liked it to have sounded in 1967. If you love The Beatles, this will be a fine addition to your collection.

The album is newly mixed to commemorate the 50th anniversary and the sound is fantastic! I played both the earlier version and this new version and this new version is noticeably better - much richer and fuller sound. Worth getting.

I had this album several years ago. It somehow disapeared from my collection. Although it had been several years since I heard these tracks they all came back to me immediately. A must have in Your CD Collection

I have decent audio equipment and matching ears and feel that the re-mix has solved a lot of the early problems with CDs being too"Brilliant" and not having enough "Warmth" found in Vinyl. The bigger joy for me came in the second CD with early outtakes of the songs. It enables you to understand how the recordings were assembled from early ideas into real songs. Enjoy them both.

It's the Beatles, what more can you say? I will admit Sgt Peppers isn't my favorite of theirs but still after 50 years the pinheads today doing music can't touch it.

the re-mix on this album is the best quality yet. George Martin's son did the re-mix and it is stunning. I hear things that you couldn't hear on previous mixes.
