I miss gentle movies like this. When was the last time you saw movie with zero special effects but a good story? Any movie made in the 80s happens to be entertaining and this is it. It’s a simple story but it’s so fun to watch. The cast is incredible.

The movie is just how I remembered it. The sound is low, you will have to turn it up really high. So happy to have a copy of one of my favorite movies from college.

A perfect coming of age story, the plot and acting are both super moving and fun!!

I remember first time seeing this on Cinemax in the 90s. I was around 20. I loved it then. I got it when it came out on dvd. I then had to get it now seeing it releases on Blu-ray. My only wish was that this included digital copy. I really think that this is a very underrated film! Really amazing music soundtrack! Great story of 4 girls getting away one last time and building memories and relationships. Loved seeing Phobe Cates and Bridget Fonda again and seeing Gish for the first time. Very good film!

A so-so movie with not a good transfer. Not worth buying even if you like the movie.

This is one of the best teen films of its time period. Acting and comedic fun are great. You chuckle or laugh from start to end. One of my favorite "feel good" films!

Shag was by no means a hit when it came out in '89 but it's a fun little movie with a cult following. Easy decision to upgrade those dvds to blu for fans.
