Jackie Chan films are what they are - and we're not watching them for some killer story or Coppola worthy acting. It's for the fight and stunt choreography that Chan does and just the expectancy of having a fun, funny, exciting time. These films aren't great films unto themselves, but they provide exactly that. Also, Wilson's chemistry with Chan is on point.
Noon is the better film, and is a fun western almost spoof at times, whereas Knights biggest caveat is having Chan face off with Donnie Yen.
The blu-ray's look filmic and sound solid enough, not amazing but still a major upgrade from the DVD's. Just wish they would've had lossless audio!

Both movies are good but Shanghai Noon is better than the sequel. Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson have excellent chemistry on screen. Some language and adult humor that may not be good for youngsters. The special features are actually good especially a short feature of how they built a model train and then blew it up in the first movie.

Loved this two films. Jackie Chan delivers his ususl awesome more than epic fight scenes and his chemistry with Wilson rivels that of Chris Tuckers in Rush Hour. Blu ray release worth a pick up if you are western, or kung fu fan this is for you.

I hope the quality doesn’t suffer from having both movies and special features on one disk. I havent seen a 2 film disk in at least a decade. Deducted one star for that reason. Great value otherwise.

I love Jackie Chan and I actually enjoy him with Owen Wilson more than with Chris Tucker.
These movies aren’t as great as some of Chan’s best work From Asia, but they’re enjoyable. Wish the movies had lossless audio but they still sound and look very solid, and bring along with them all the DVD extras.

Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson are great as unlikely pair to join together to fight enemies in the U.S. and England. Great stunts and fighting scenes balanced with comedy.
