An ode to old school gamers. Charming!

Shantae, originally released on gameboy color is a cult classic not known to the masses. But let me tell you that it is GREAT. It's well priced ($30) and unbearably CHARMING. The platforming is great. The environments are beautifully drawn and the soundtrack is so catchy. Where many of today's games are "bigger and better", this keeps it short and sweet and mechanically sound. It won't be hundreds of hours, but what it does offer is enjoyment and enough variety to go back once or twice. And at the price, it's worth it
