If you are looking for an all around great vacuum, this might be the one for you. This is my second Shark Vacuum since our Dyson. Overall I prefer the Shark vacuums to any other Brand to date. They are lighter, easier to use with on-board accessories and can get into smaller areas such as under tables, beds etc. HINT: In lift-away mode attach the handle direct to the power head (no extension) and use to clean stairs. This finally makes cleaning steps a breeze. I also own an Oreck and the standard (Light blue) Shark Lift-Away Speed. I have been pretty happy with the Shark. However, the new Duo Clean system is pretty genius. They put a smaller, soft roller before the cleaning roller to enhance the cleaning power. This makes cleaning hard surface floors much better. The light blue Lift-Away Speed has a hard surface attachment you can use which does a very nice job, but I am usually to lazy to go grab it for smaller kitchen and hall area. So I prefer the new Duo Clean for hardwood type floors. The power head on the Duo is about 1-1/2” narrower than the standard ‘Speed’ model. My guess is that Shark did this for more maneuverability in small areas. My wife has a small home cleaning business and she prefers the Oreck simply due to the weight and slimmer size. It is easier for her to load in the vehicle. But with that said, she will use the new Shark periodically for a deeper clean and the need to use some of the accessories. The ‘Under Appliance Wand’ works great for under the stove, washer and dryer etc. And the ‘TruePet® Mini Motorized Brush’ works very nice on fabric furniture to remove pet fur. Below is a list of my pros and cons of this unit: Pros: -Duo Roller is great for hard floors and also assists on providing a deeper clean on the carpet. -Easy Remove/Clean Rollers -Nice LED lights -Lighter than past vacuum models -Can get under beds, dressers and tables with ease. -Easy to clean steps. -Easy to use onboard accessories -Useful Under Appliance Wand and TruePet® Mini Motorized Brush Cons: -Small collection cylinder (plan on emptying multiple times per cleaning if you have pets) -Slightly harder to pull back due to the added roller (but it does clean great) Bottom line - If you are looking for an all around great vacuum with lots of accessories and ease of use, you will not be disappointed with this vacuum. I must say it is the best vacuum we have owned to date. ** I did receive this unit in exchange for my unbiased and honest review. Trust me, I will tell it like it is as I too dislike fake reviews.

It's so easy to put the vacuum cleaner together. It's compact but mighty I love how it cleans and to use canister to carry. I highly recommend the vacuum!

It really cleaned up the dog hair from my carpet. Maybe I'm not used to it yet but just not sure I like it on my wood kitchen floor or my bathroom. I'm used to the "old" Electrolux.

It was a great vacuum. Works great on carpet and hardwood floor. Lasted for a long time before it broke.

Dyson who. Forget dyson I’ll buy another shark vacuum just to have two. Suction is amazing and the canister holds a lot of debris

Our first shark vacuum, and is the best we have ever owned. Have laminate flooring and picks up the dogs hair, in my own opinion better than Dyson.

Best vacuum I've ever used. Does well on hardwoods and carpet and switching between the two. Love the lift away feature for hard to reach spots.

This Shark is really good on hardwood floors!! It has super suction. It gets the dust and dog hair. SO HAPPY WITH THIS VAC!!

This shark is a great sweeper for the money! Had an older model for about 12 years so upgraded to a newer model works great!!

Not as great as I had expected. The front roller has popped off and can't put it back on. Doesn't do that great a job of sucking up debris. Will not buy Shark again.

A little smaller and lighter than the Shark Rotator Pro. The DuoClean front roller works perfectly on our ceramic tile floors.

I liked that it does a good job with pet hair. It's light weight too. I also like it doesn't use a bag. All good points!

i cant stop using this enough. i use my kirby then use this great vaccum and i still pick up stuff the kirby missed..

Works better than expected, great vacuum, I always used canister vacuums. This is the way to go, especially with pets

This thing is a beast. I didn’t think I would care much about a vaccum but this thing sucks in a good way.

The Shark - Duo Clean Powered Lift-Away Vacuum, has a 5 year warranty at time of purchase, when you register online or call you get 2 more years, from Shark. Since I purchased it three weeks ago the only problem I had was due to my mistake. I called Shark and they guided me through the disassembles you process to help me find the problem. Since then I have not had any problem with this product. It has more suction than the Shark Professional. I still use the other Shark also.

Hardwood floors feel much cleaner and amount of dirt collected from seemingly clean carpet is amazing.
