This is my first robot vacuum. We've had it for a little while now. The flooring is concrete and carpet. Pros: *I can push a button and get a little extra help vacuuming and sweeping. *It's pretty simple to take apart to clean. *The station dustbin is nice. It makes owning this not feel like just another chore. Cons (but not really): *If you have nooks and crannies, of course they still need to be cleaned. This is just an aide... instead of sweeping thrice daily I can push a button, but it isn't going to be a replacement. *Occasionally there's a random error message. Easy troubleshooting would be check the dustbins, check the roller, check the little sweepy eyelash thingies (real technical business, you know). *You need a decent space to let it dock *and* not be in the way. *Sometimes it does weird stuff on carpet rather than nice lines. I'm happy with my purchase and the value it has added to my home over time.

Got it on sale for $279. And I would definitely pay more. We have 2 dogs and a cat in the house and we have a gravel/dirt driveway in the desert so we have a lot of dust, dirt and pet hair that needs to be vacuumed up all the time. This robot vacuum is very thorough. It may take a couple of runs to get to all parts of the house in the beginning but it seems to learn the layout with its row by row pattern. We have approximately 2100 square feet with 2 small bedrooms that we leave the doors closed so it doesn’t run in those room and it can get all of the floors in a little over an hour. It even cleans under our bed if we lift the bed skirt and under the couch. We have a lot of obstacles that it navigates around and so far has not gotten stuck. Much quieter than a regular vacuum. Super easy to get started, plug in the base and turn on the power it will do a very short clean pattern, dock itself to charge and then when it is fully charged, push the clean button and away it goes. Connection to Wi-Fi and Shark app is fairly easy as well. This a great

Bought the RV912S for $249 on Deal of the Day and I Love It! It cleans well and is smart enough to get under my dining room table without me moving the chairs. No.,it doesn't have a good mapping but it doesn't need that fancy feature. I let it go automatically or pick it up to clean a specific room. Some areas that it doesn't fit under, like my sofa, I move the dirt to the area it reaches and it picks it up. Its quietier than I expected and it finds it ls way back to the base or it alerts me when it needs help. I highly recommend this product.

I just love my vacuum robot! It’s very smart you can program it on your phone to the area that you want clean on your floor, rug and carpet from one room to another. Easy instruction and whatever time you want to set it throughout the day. I wish I would’ve purchase this item sooner! It has a pod that empty debris from the floor once it’s done cleaning it also works great

Love it! Works really well compared to the other 2 robovac ms we owned previously! Love that I don’t have to keep emptying a small dustbin every time I use. It does a more thorough job. The only thing I do wish is that it came with a remote for when I just want to do touch ups. But considering how well it works I can overlook that. It’s also much quieter than others. The voice feature is awesome! My husband has never been interested in any of the numerous vacuums we’ve had, but he actually uses this one & also loves it which speaks volumes lol! I have no complaints! I’ve had quite a few Shark upright vacs, handheld vacs & I’ve loved them all. Shark has been my go to choice for many years & I will continue to buy & purchase!

The Bad: Sometimes it will erase the map of your home for no reason. Gets lost sometimes. The Good: self empty lasts fairly long time. Especially considering I have a dog and cat. Quite for the most part. I usually use the boost/ max suction mode. In all I like it very much. Unfortunately I can't run it on a schedule because of the pets. It will not avoid a doggie accident if you know what I mean. That's not a mess you want to clean. Not a vacuum replacement. But it helps in-between vacuums.

I didn’t have high expectations for this because we have 2 high shed dogs and kids tracking stuff inside. I am very pleasantly surprised! I’ve been using it for a month, running it every evening, and it really has made my life easier by taking this task off my plate. It’s efficient and picks up 90% of everything on the floor. Sometimes it isn’t great with corners or near baseboards but I can live with that. It’s easy to set up and use. I bought this to replace a 5-6 year old iRobot (without self-emptying) and it’s been a good decision!

I am happy with this product. It does a great job at picking up dog hair and my toddler’s crumbs. Sometimes it gets confused and misses some spots. I haven’t tried the app yet, so I hope that fixes the problem.

I bought this as an early Christmas present on Black Friday. The things I liked about it were that it would self empty, connect to Google Home, and created a map of the areas vacuumed. I have an older Roomba and I didn't not like the randomness of its cleaning. It literally runs into my refrigerator a million times and doesn't clean other areas. I knew for my next robot, I wanted one that would go back and forth in straight lines. I feel like the shark could have more suction power than it does. I like that it returns to the base to empty and then continues to clean. I purchased this one over the Roomba self cleaning bc the Roomba requires special bags for its container and I didn't want to have to always purchase them. My only cons are the shark has a slight obsession with trying to climb my Christmas tree. It is supposed to be able to develop a map so that I can avoid certain areas but after 15 cleanings, it has failed to do so. According to Shark, it can take 4-40 runs so I shall see. Overall I am satisfied with it and think it good enough for everyday cleaning. I have 2 dogs and 4 cats and it has dramatically reduced the number of times a week I have to manually vacuum.

I bought this vacuum because my Roomba I owned would not vacuum my new living room rug. The recognition feature thought the black in my rug was a cliff so it would shut down. This Shark was on sale and I do love love love the self emptying feature but the suction is nothing g like the Roomba. Would go for Roomba over Shark. Pic of my rug.

Cool to see moving along our wood floors but if you have shaggy type carpets in some places throughout, just sweep your own floor. The capet seems to prevent the device from being able to learn the space. It also gets stuck in places and you have to rescue it. It does pick up pretty well and self empties to the dock, returns to where it left off and continues until the whole space is cleaned. Cleans well around tables and chairs.
