We bought this as a Santa gift for our 10-year-old daughter who recently got into hair care, and it has been her ultimate Christmas gift. She started with heatless socks curls and transitioned to this, and it’s been great for learning how to style her hair. She’s already learned how to curl her hair on her own and has even started doing her friends’ hair, which says a lot about how easy it is to use. The heat and cool options, along with the different airflow levels, give good control without feeling overwhelming. I was honestly skeptical at first, but I was surprised by how powerful this dryer is. It dries quickly and performs well. It is on the louder side, but that’s expected given the power, and it hasn’t been an issue for us. It’s not cheap for a 10-year-old, but the benefits of less heat damage and the quality of the product make it a worthwhile purchase, especially since we’ll all be using it. Overall, we’re very happy with this purchase. It feels well-made, works efficiently, and has been a great tool for both learning and everyday use.

I bought this for my wife - she really likes it. She previously had the Dyson Air Wrap but took it back because she thought it was too expensive. This Shark was an excellent compromise on features and did just as much, according to her. She likes that it's very quick, easy to use, makes her hair shiny, holds the style pretty well with product, and is pretty gentle on her hair. Shark as usual does a great job for a very reasonable price. Def recommended.

My girls love it! I have 2 beautiful teenaged daughters who were surprised by how well this DOES NOT damage their hair. Plus, my wife, whose hair is growing back after chemotherapy from a successful bout with breast cancer, loves how it helps her hair get the body she wants.

Great Lightweight Powerful Nice color Quiet for the power Compact enough for travel Length makes it easy to reach the back of your head Heats up fast Versatile Easy to use Long cord Cool nubs on ends of attachments Easier and safer for someone younger to use Very hard to get burned Power cord swivels in the base Plenty of third-party accessories available Cons Curlers have a learning curve Curlers don’t make tight curls or gloss hair Power brick in middle of cord is a bit awkward No cord holder No case Design and Features 9/10 Out of the box you notice the unique Indigo Rush blue color. A lot of these products are rose gold, white, or silver so it’s nice to see Shark offering more options. The main body is very thin. Even a young teen would have no issues holding it. It is longer than your normal curling iron but more compact than normal hair dryers. It is lightweight, particularly for the power it has. The cord is plenty long; however, the power brick is in the middle of the cord. It’s not a dealbreaker, but you do have to watch out for it as it can pull on the dryer. For example, if the brick is on the counter and slides off it will tug the dryer in your hand or off the counter if you set it down. Near the bottom of the unit are the sliding power button and the speed and heat settings. Further up the body is a cool boost button. In the middle there is a slide lock button that you use to change it from hair dryer to other modes. Attachments just click onto the end with a satisfying click. There is a slide lock you press to remove them. Each attachment has a cool “nub” to hold. While the design would work great for traveling with the lightweight, versatile, and compact design Shark did not include a cord organizer or case. Thankfully, since the FlexStyle has been out for several years others have created accessories to expand it’s capabilities. You can purchase to add more functionality even beyond what Shark offers, including a case. Hopefully someone will create a matching Indigo Rush case soon. Usage and Performance 9/10 While there will be compromises with creating a tool with so much versatility, Shark has done a nice job of balancing the pros and cons. It’s easy and quick to use. It feels like it heats up almost instantaneously and makes quick work of wet hair. The compact design also feels comfortable in the hand. While the extra length at times feels slightly awkward at first, it is also a bonus making reaching the back of your head more comfortable and natural. It also is quiet for the power. If you are worried about disturbing others in the morning, a single closed door blocks most of the sound. The hairdryer function and oval brush work just like you would expect. They don’t do anything special but they do work just as good as any dedicated styler and that is a good thing. The autowrap curlers are where you see more of the compromise. Once you get the technique down for using them they do a good job, but you aren’t going to get tight curls or gloss your hair using them. If you just want to add some curls, then this system works great since it never lets your hair get hot enough to burn and is also hard to get burned by. It does take some practice to use though. You have to put the autowrap curler halfway down your hair, then let it wrap the end of the hair around the curler before pulling it close to the scalp while it rolls the rest up. That part is pretty easy. What is a bit awkward is once you have let it set with heat for 10 seconds you have to use your other hand to press the cool boost button for 10 seconds and then slide the power button offer before removing. The control buttons are slightly recessed but with practice you can feel them. The issue is, depending on where you are curling, it can be a bit of a juggling act trying to hold it and press the buttons to go through the process. If you are the type of person who likes to add curls frequently this routine would probably get to be second nature and worth the tradeoff of reducing the risk of damaging your hair. For once in a while use, like in our family, it can feel awkward without help. Another family member has an older version of this with the same design tradeoff. It seems like a missed opportunity where Shark could have added a curl set button for one handed use where it would automatically run the cool boost and shut off all with one press to set the curl. Final Thoughts The Shark FlexStyle is a versatile hair styling tool. With the growing list of third party accessories it has become even better. If you are in the market for a compact styler that is well made but less likely to break the bank, then the Shark FlexStyle is worth a look.

I have very think wavy hair. It takes forever to dry my hair, and when I just air dry it it’s SUPER frizzy. From shower to ready to go it would take an hour to blow dry then style. Now it only takes 20 minutes and I can do both at the same time!! Love it so much

Great Replacement for Blow Dryer and Curling Iron!

I’ve been wanting to replace my girlfriend’s hairdryer for a while now. After repeated uses as a dryer for the dog, it has gotten to the point that it only lightly warms the air. She had been looking at getting one of the air curlers, as she also has wanted to replace her older curling iron. So, when I saw Shark had the FlexStyle Air Styling & Drying System with curlers, I had to pick one up for her. Pros: - Easy to use & control air/temperature. - Comes with multiple attachments. - Curls well and lasts all day. Cons: - Takes practice to get the curling technique down. - Swapping out the curling attachments can cause burns. - Shark doesn’t provide extra attachment packs separately. Out-of-the-Box: Included with this FlexStyle Air Styling & Drying System is a pair of Right & Left curler attachments, a Brush head attachment, and instructions. The FlexStyle is a sleek and compact multi-device that can replace both a traditional blow dryer and curling iron, plus additional specialty hair dryers with additional attachments. To turn on the dryer, you just slide the power button up when plugged in. Adjusting the heat or airflow is simply a push of a button, with the red button for heat control and button with a fan symbol for airflow. Heat has 4 levels: off, low, med, and high. Airflow has 3 levels: low, med, and high. There’s a third button further up for Cool Shot to lock in the curl when curling. The head can turn to be 90 degrees from the body by pushing down the leaver on the back side of the FlexStyle, then rotate the head. The attachments simply twist on the head, easy as can be. To swap out the different attachments, a similar lever is near the top of the head that when pushed will release the attachment. Instructions: There are 2 guides included with the FlexStyle: a quick reference card and a full attachment guide. The quick reference card is helpful to get started with curling. The full attachment guide really is there to encourage you to want additional attachments. On the quick reference card, there are 5 steps for curling that help you get started. We found that the hair needed to be dryer than suggested, just lightly damp and that curling in stages on the hair worked best. First curl the ends for 5-10 seconds, then the rest of the hair. This might mostly apply to longer hair, but it’s what got us the best results for my girlfriends’ hair. Drying: I found it worked great as a blow dryer, as I had to test it out before we put it anywhere near my girlfriend’s hair! On maximum heat, it does get quite hot, easily hot enough to fry your hair or scalp if you’re not careful. For the most part we were comfortable using the heat at Med (2 red dots). My only disappointment was one I knew going into the kit, that this pack only came with the curlers and brush, and no Styling Concentrator attachment. Drying without the Concentrator works but tends to blow the hair in all directions as the air is just coming out of the end of the FlexStyle, like using a regular blow dryer. The Concentrator would flatten out and focus the air, making a more uniform drying that is easier to direct. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like there is an official extra attachments pack, but I’ll be keeping an eye out to see if I can pick up the attachments individually. Curling: The main reason we chose this FlexStyle System was for the Curling, my girlfriend has wanted an air curler but didn’t like the price of most of the systems when compared to a traditional curling iron. This FlexStyle is listed at $279.99 but went on sale during Black Friday for $159.99 which makes it a steal! On our first attempt, we followed the reference cards instructions but soon found that the hair needed to be almost completely dry to get a decent curl. The instructions suggest 80-90%, but if your hair is to wet or heavy or clumps together, it will not wrap around the curler on its own. Additionally, we found swapping out the curlers during use required either waiting 5mins for the attachment to cool down or using a silicone mat to swap out the attachments, as the curlers get very hot during use. It would be helpful to have a silicone mat included or little glove to swap out the hot attachments with. We dried her hair more, then gave it another try and on the second try we got much better results. One suggestion we found hard to maintain was the position of the FlexStyle, as the curlers will blow the hot air directly onto your head as you move it closer, which will start to burn after a while. We worked around this by her tilting the FlexStyler to direct the hot air away from her head and lowering the temperature down to Mid (2 red dots). This did mean we needed to increase the time per curl, but also was much more comfortable than on full blast. On the next try, on Thanksgiving at that, we tried another tweak to the reference card instructions. We had found that the best results happened when you curled the end 1/3 of your hair around the curler for 5-10 seconds first, then proceeded to curl the rest of the hair for another 5-8 seconds. This gave the ends of the hair more time to dry and produced a stronger curl. This more than likely depends on hair length, which her hair lands at the bottom of her shoulder blades. Additionally, we had lowered the temperature down to mid, which allowed us to keep the curler on the hair for a longer time without burning her hair. Overall, we were both very impressed with the results of the curls as we put them to the test while hosting Thanksgiving, which involved 12 hours of cooking, eating, and cleaning up afterwards! The top curls mostly fell out, but the mid and ends of the hair stayed wavy and curled. My girlfriend really loved all the complements to her hair, she’s looking forward to trying it out again when she goes to her next event. Conclusion: If you want to replace your old blow dryer and curling iron with one sleek and compact device, the Shark FlexStyle Air Styling & Drying System is a great option. It’s easy to use and adjust to your desired style via one of the attachments or settings. It would be great to see an official additional attachment pack, but you can find most of them individually online, in case you wanted a specific attachment head that wasn’t included in your bundle. Overall, we’re more than happy to add this to our list of bathroom devices in place of the old blow dryer and curling iron!

    Powerful time saver

This drying system has become the new favorite in my house. My wife and daughter are fighting over who gets to use it. They both have thick hair and have a hard time drying it in a timely fashion. In the past there was always a need to have both a dryer and a brush/comb to make sure their hair was evenly drying. Since using the Flexstyle their "get ready" time has reduced significantly. They no longer need to use both hands when drying as this tool acts as both a dryer and a comb, in turn saving valuable time. This time saver comes with both a brush attachment as well as a Left and Right curling heads that attach straight onto the top of the dryer. The dryer has a 90 degree pivot and lock function too that allows the user to get the perfect angle while styling and drying their hair. The power cord does have enough slack too to give the user enough room to maneuver around. It is light weight and is comfortable on the hands and fires up to temp quick quickly. Attaching new attachments has been a breeze too as they pop off with ease. We did not, however that this does require a lot of power and tripped our breaker while using the first time but by no means a dealbreaker for this product. In short, if you're looking for a dryer/styler that is versatile enough to both style and curl then this is a great option for you. Its robust design allows the user to rapidly dry their hair while combing through vs needing a separate brush to do so. A must have time saver!

I was looking to get a quality Styling and Drying system for my daughter and got the Shark - FlexStyle Air Styling & Drying System, Powerful Hair Blow Dryer and Multi-Styler. It came with Shark FlexStyle, Two 1.25 inch curlers and Brush attachment. The first thing she noticed is that how lightweight and ergonomic this system is. She mentioned multiple times that her arm never feels tired even when using it for detailed styling. The swivel feature allows the dryer to convert from a traditional blow-dryer shape to a more compact styling wand, which is extremely convenient. This device has a lot of power for its size. It dries her hair noticeably faster than the old dryer, and the airflow is strong without feeling harsh on the scalp. It has the ability to dry efficiently using lower heat settings, helping to minimize damage while still delivering quick results. After each use, my daughter's hair looks shinier, smoother, and healthier. The FlexStyle doesn’t overheat, producing far less frizz and no dryness. Even on humid days, the style holds up amazingly well for her. It truly gives that polished, salon-finish look at home. Switching between attachments is very easy, and the temperature and airflow settings are straightforward to adjust. The compact design also makes storage easy, especially for a tool with this many features. Shark FlexStyle is definitely a worth buy to get great results on styling.

This Shark FlexStyle Air Stying & Drying System, Powerful Hair Blow Dryer and Multi-Styler - Straight and Wavy Hair in Indigo Rush is an excellent option for drying and styling your medium to long hair without damaging it. In the box you get the Shark FlexStyler Dryer, 2 1.25 curlers (left and right), and an oval brush attachment. The SharkFlexStyler Dryer is the most powerful dryer I have ever used in my life. I thought it was pretty cool though because it actually dried my hair in no time flat. This was without any of the attachments on it. I just wanted to try it without the attachments and it was super strong. The curling attachments are 1.25 each. There is one that turns left and one that turns right. This is automatic, and it’s really cool. The brush attachment is oval and I love it. It makes my hair so shiny, dries it, and puts a little bit of curl in the ends all at the same time. The great thing about this styling system is that it curls and straightens your hair while drying it. It uses no direct heat at all, just air as it’s drying it and yes, hot air, but not like putting your hair directly on a hot iron. It makes all the difference in the world. The curls hold very well too. The con for me is that I have really thick hair and it takes me forever to do my whole head of hair, but that is with any styling system. I give this 5 of 5 stars, because it’s that good of a system.

    Not for thick, dense hair

The FlexStyle is a really innovative hair dryer that offers a lot of options for styling, convenience, and travel. As a guy with long hair, my main use for this is travel. It lets me bring both a blow dryer and a brush in one tool, which is perfect for me. I travel a lot for work, I hate hotel blow dryers, and I somehow always forget my brush, so this will be a huge upgrade. I did try the air curl function, but my hair is very fine and “wispy,” as my wife calls it, so I didn’t have much luck getting good curls. My wife was really interested in this feature and tried it several times too, but she didn’t get the results she was hoping for either. Her hair is extremely thick and dense, and while she could get the curls to hold, they came out more like tight ringlets, which isn’t the style she wanted. The device does require swapping the curler between left and right attachments, which can be a little confusing at first. That said, switching attachments is very easy, and the whole system is designed well. Everything twist locks into place smoothly, and it feels solid. We both love the color of this dryer, it’s a beautiful almost sapphire blue, and I can’t imagine a nicer color choice. The shape and overall feel are great too. The drying power is plenty strong for me with long, thin hair, but for my wife it wasn’t quite powerful enough. All in all, I think most people will appreciate this dryer and get the results they’re looking for. For both of us it came up a little short in the styling department, but even so, it’s become my new travel blow dryer, and for that purpose it’s basically perfect.

    The Most Versatile Hair Dyer

I picked up the Shark FlexStyle Air Styling & Drying System Indigo Rush for my partner and me, and after using it for two weeks, it’s safe to say this thing has become the best compromise we could’ve hoped for. I wanted something that would be reliable and quickly dry my shorter hair without fuss and she wanted a tool that could style, smooth, and curl hers. The FlexStyle does both of those things well enough that we’re both happy with it. Out of the box the FlexStyle’s Indigo Rush finish looks sleek and I personally approve of this look because I don't feel embarrassed using it, say if it was hot pink. The hair dryer's main draw is its modular design in that you are able to swap between the dryer body and the various styling heads quickly, so it’s a one device solution for blow drying, creating waves or curls. For my hair short, it mostly just needs quick drying, so I just use the release switch to swivel it into blow dryer mode, and it works like a standard blow dryer. It dries my hair quickly without needing to blast it at full speed or have it at max heat. For my partner this has now replaced the need of her ever going to one of those blow out salons because she is able to do what they do with the styling brush and curling attachments to create defined curls. The versatility of the FlexStyle Switching from dryer to styler is super simple. She can go from towel dry to a full styled look without bringing out 3 different tools. The settings are intuitive, there’s enough range to find a gentle warm setting for delicate styling and a hotter setting for speed when we’re rushing. And when Air styling she wraps the part of her hair with heat and then shocks it with cool air to keep the curls in place. There is somewhat of a learning curve to this and we watched several videos online with girls who had similar hair, explaining the correct technique and she was able to figure it out after the 3rd time using it. So, I recommend watching some videos to use it correctly. The FlexStyle is well balanced and fits in the hand well even for those with smaller hands. And when she was using the brush head for longer styling sessions her arm wasn't getting sore from holding it. Her only nit pick was that she wished the barrel was a tad thicker and a little longer, to grab more hair when styling it. Price wise, this is where this product really stands out. It’s positioned super competitively with the quality and performance towards the high end models on the market. So when we were home for the holidays at my parents house, my mom had the high end premium styler from the vacuum company (which costs roughly three times as much), and decided to compare them. I asked her to do half her hair with the FlexStyle and the other half with the expensive one and see if the rest of the family could tell the difference. We couldn't... That being said, for a household that wants to share one hairdryer that can do everything for two people with different hair needs, that price to performance matters. Pros Very versatile doubles as a dryer and multi-styler Great compromise for two users with different hair needs Efficient drying for short-to-medium hair; good styling results for longer hair intuitive heat/speed settings and easy attachment swaps Balanced, comfortable in-hand feel for longer styling sessions Affordable compared to other air styling models on the market Competitive price compared to much more expensive premium stylers Cons The barrel could be a tad thicker Steep learning curve (recommend watching tutorial videos) Overall, the Shark FlexStyle Air Styling & Drying System is a practical, well designed, versatile product, it dries my hair quickly and gives my partner the styling options she wants, without us having to clutter the bathroom with multiple high priced tools. If you want one tool that genuinely covers basic drying plus real styling without breaking the bank this is a very practical product to go with.

The Shark FlexStyle Air Styling & Drying System is powerful—be prepared to be blown away! This system arrived with the hair dryer/styling wand; two auto-wrap curlers; and an oval brush. Additional accessories are available for purchase, but the included accessories work as an intro to the hair styling & Drying System. The wand and accessories are incredibly well made, and feel very high quality. This is a nice product, and the wand feels great to hold in your hand! First of all, let talk about the combination hair dryer/styling wand. It is round and sleek; has a long electrical cord; and a filter that should be cleaned regularly (which is simple to do). There are three heat levels and three fan levels, as well as a Cool Shot button, which are used for both the hair dyer mode and the styling mode. The area with these controls is gently indented, allowing you to easily identify where these buttons are. This is helpful, because all of the buttons except for the power button are flush with the wand. To use as a hair dryer, simply slide the hinge latch down and rotate the nozzle. Drying your hair is quick and easy with all of the available power this hair dryer generates. To use as a styling wand, simply slide the hinge latch down and rotate the nozzle back to the wand position. Next, snap the desired attachment in place and style, style, style! To remove the attachment, just press the style lock lever down, and lift off. This feature is great—no bumping magnetic attachments and having them fall to the floor. For those who want curls, the Auto-wrap Barrels make quick work of beautiful curls. They are marked for the left and right side of your head, which is nice. Please note that used as marked, the curls are away from your face. If you prefer curls going towards your face, just use the other Auto-wrap Barrel. For no curls or less curls, the included Oval Brush is great! Depending on how you use it, you can have no curl, or a little curl, and add volume to your hair style. The included styling guide provides great styling tips. Overall, this is a powerful hair dryer and styling wand combination and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to dry and style their hair quickly and easily. You may notice a little learning curve, depending on what type of hair dryer/styler you’ve been using. However, Shark includes a Styling Guide, which is very helpful. While you can always go online to see videos, it is nice to have a Styling Guide handy. This powerful, versatile hair drying system is great. However, including a concentrator attachment or round brush would have made it better. Despite not including these attachments, I would still give this product 5 stars, as it is one of the best hair styling systems I have ever used!

Twist, curl, it does it all! Alright, maybe not "all" but the Shark FlexStyle Air Styling & Drying system is able to hand most of what you need to do on the go, or even at home depending on what you need. The flex head is so convenient so drying hair while trying to take care of other morning tasks or while on a call. It is also incredibly convenient if you need a hair dryer to seal something, warm some glue, or any other non-hair type tasks one might use a hair dryer for! After my significant other was finished curling her hair prior to a networking event for the regional bar association, I was able to use the flex head for sealing the winter shielding around our windows and it was able to get warm enough to loosen the glue from a tablet touchsccreen! Talk about a multipurpose device! On top of everything it can do, it looks great with a sleek satin blue finish and metallic coloring to show where the FlexHead swivels. The attachments easily connect and disconnect when needed, but will firmly stay put. The inclusion of a left and right curl dryer is a really nice touch to get the perfect bounce to the curls. Overall, this get a huge recommendation from my significant other and myself. Her for all of it's hair functionality, and myself (a bald man) for the added utility that it brings when she's not using it! If this was cordless and ran off my power tool's lithium battery packs, I think we'd both be extremely happy, but that would really throw the balance off. This thing is great!

My first impression of the Shark FlexStyle Air Styling system is that of a premium hair tool. The look and feel is very impressive and it feels very durable in the hand. You can tell it is not a cheap tool. The pivoting head is a very cool feature and it makes switching from a traditional blow dryer to a curler very easy. First and foremost, the hair dryer feature is powerful traditional hair dryer. The shape of the tool is is straight tube and fits in the hand very nice. The system is also very lightweight. It makes operating it very easy. The brush attachment is also a convenient way to blow out your hair. It leaves the ends, or tips, curly. My daughter's hair is very thick so it took several attempts to get a curl. She has this issue with all hot air brushes as well. The curlers are also a nice add on, however my daughter only tried it once. It did work well, the one time she used it, for one curl. It worked very well so she stopped since she did not want to style her hair with extreme curls. Overall, we are very pleased with the Shark FlexStyle System. It is nice and compact so that we easily take it with on vacation. The styling features also work very well. Shark continues to make high quality products that my family loves to use.

The Shark FlexStyle Air Styling & Drying System in Indigo Rush is a versatile, powerful, and budget-friendly multi-styler that rivals the Dyson Airwrap. I have a daughter on a D1 College Dance team – and she loves the product - benefiting from its fast drying, styling versatility, and reduced heat damage—perfect for creating polished looks that hold up under the lights and intensity of football and basketball games. DESIGN AND BUILD: • Convertible Wand: The FlexStyle transforms seamlessly from a blow dryer into a styling wand with a simple twist. She’s had no trouble switching attachments. • Attachments Included: The Straight & Wavy Hair set comes with: - Two 1.25-inch Auto-Wrap Curlers - Styling Concentrator - Paddle Brush - Oval Brush • Color & Aesthetic: The Indigo Rush finish that I have is a limited-edition shade, sleek and modern, making it stand out from standard black or stone versions – but all color work equally as well so don’t worry about that. PERFORMANCE • Drying Power: My daughter and her teammates have commented that it’s one of the most powerful and fast-drying hair dryers they’ve used. This is critical for dancers who need quick styling before performances. • Heat Management: Uses air flow rather than direct heat, minimizing damage while still achieving smooth, styled results. • Curling Functionality: Auto-Wrap Curlers create bouncy curls, though they only curl in one direction, requiring a swap for symmetry. • Straightening & Smoothing: The paddle and oval brushes help tame frizz and create sleek ponytails or voluminous waves—ideal for dance team aesthetics. COMPARISON TO COMPETITORS • Price Advantage: The Shark Flexstyle typically sells at about half the cost of the competitors products – making this an exceptional deal and on sale for the holidays! • Dryer Strength: Stronger airflow than many competitive products, meaning faster prep time. • Limitations: Slightly louder and less effective at fully taming frizz compared some competitors. USE CASE My daughter’s dance team performances demand long-lasting, polished hairstyles that withstand movement, sweat, and game-day lighting. The Shark FlexStyle delivers in several ways: • Quick Prep: Fast drying means less time in the dressing room before events. • Versatility: She can switch between sleek straight looks for uniformity or voluminous curls for themed routines. • Durability: Styles hold up through high-energy choreography thanks to the strong airflow and effective attachments. • Reduced Damage: Frequent styling before games and competitions doesn’t fry her hair, keeping it healthy despite regular use. TRADE OFFS & CONSIDERATIONS • Noise: Louder than some competitors, which can be distracting in shared prep spaces. • Curl Direction: Requires swapping curlers mid-style for symmetrical curls. • Storage: The FlexStyle I purchased doesn’t include a premium storage case. OVERALL The Shark FlexStyle in Indigo Rush is a powerful, stylish, and cost-effective multi-styler. For my daughter on the dance team, it’s the perfect tool: quick, versatile, and protective against heat damage. It ensures she can step onto the floor with hair that looks polished, professional, and performance-ready.

I received the Shark FlexStyle Air in navy blue. The blue color is a fun twist from a standard hair drier silver or white. Unboxing was fun and simple with setup being easy and self-explanatory. The FlexStyle came packaged with QR codes which directs you to Shark's website and further into YouTube videos for learning tips and how to use this hairdryer. I would like to point out the attachments first. They are easy to take on/off and swap out. It should be noted that you can purchase additional attachments from shark. The coolest (or hottest) part of this "hair blower" is you can turn the stick of the unit (the head) about 75% up at 90 degrees for a more traditional shape and better control. There are both hot and cold setting, hot is a good temperature, and the cool temp actually feels "cooler" than a normal hair dryer....I assume this is only because of how the air comes into the unit. The cord is very long and useful if you do not have a mirror near an outlet. Furthermore, my personal favorite attachment is the oval brush. This helps my hair dry quickly leaving it straight and silky. This is easy to use and clean. Overall, the hairdryer is stylish and easy to use. The QR code videos are helpful to learn how to use the different attachments.

What got me excited I have many Shark vacuums, so I’m familiar with the brand. I didn’t know that Shark even made hair dryers until I came across the Flexstyle. What I’m expecting I’m expecting this thing to be amazing considering the price tag. What’s included in the packaging? Out of the box you get the hair dryer, two curling attachments, and a brush attachment. My first impressions My first reaction upon seeing this is that this is the first hair dryer I’ve ever seen that has a power brick power adaptor. It’s also not as big as I expected. I could see this easily fitting into a weekend bag for a trip. The build qu ality is really high. The material feels like a very sturdy plastic, and everything looks well machined. Let’s try it out The Flexstyle has 3 heat settings, 3 power settings, a cool button, and the on/off button. Near the top is a button that allows you to rotate the head, creating a nice “7” shape. I’m guessing it’s better to keep it straight for the extensions, but for everyday use, I like the “7” shape. The sound is surprisingly low. On the hottest setting, it is pretty hot. The cool button changes the temperature immediately. I wish that the power and temp buttons were rockers, instead of a single button that you have to cycle through. What stood out that was positive For it’s small size, it is powerful. The noise isn’t loud, and that’s a major plus. The chord is long enough where I feel like it won’t unplug itself if I move back an extra couple of inches. What stood out that was negative The design engineering gets a ding here. The power button is located a few inches above the intake. By default, you want to just keep your hand there after turning it on, but logic says move it away so there’s a good air flow. I think either moving the intake somewhere else, maybe near the rotate button, or move the power button a bit higher would have made more sense. Some things I wish (What can be included in the next version and what I would take out) Add a power and temp rocker (Like the ones on phones), keep the power button and the air intake away from each other, and maybe make a version that’s rechargeable so you can have it unplugged. Who is this targeted at? This is targeted at everybody. A hair dryer is a modern necessity, so it makes sense to get one if you need one. All in all Shark surprised me with their Flexstyle hair dryer. The price is high for what it does, but as long as it lasts more than 5 years, I’ll say that it was worth the investment. I would definitely recommend it.

Simply perfect! Does what my Dyson does for half the price. Beautiful, sleek, and powerful enough to handle whatever challenge it faces. Definitely recommend!
