I had an older shark floor steamer that finally died. It was the first model they ever came out with. This new one seems to heat up faster, so that’s good. The ability to burst steam onto a specific area to clean is super useful. Love it so far!

Just moved into a new apartment and they didn't clean the floors. This took care of the job floor looks great

Great device to clean floors Much better than those disposable mops and cheaper in the long run! Just place the Shark Steam Mop in a bucket when finish.

Ordered this online to be delivered. Was so easy to put together and to use. Love it so much nicer than other mops and leaves no sticky residue. Would definitely recommend.

This Shark is really great and does a wonderful job but it is really hard to find. I don't know why but Best Buy doesn't carry this at all of their stores and didn't have one in Port Charlotte Florida where we live so we had to drive to Fort Myers to buy one. Other than that they are GREAT! Good price, does wonderful job!

We have Japanese Chin Puppies and tile floors. It can be a job to keep them spotless. Not with this mop! The steam really cleans and with steam YOU KNOW IT'S CLEAN! We got a great price and these are hard to find so we used best buy pickup. Try one!

I am very happy with this Shark Steam Mop. I love the extra wide pad.

The steam that this mop gives out is undeniably perfect in cleaning any dirt or stain on my hard wood floor. And to top that, it has a manual mop that you can use to just clean messy cookie drops that my toddler leaves on my floor.

I have owned a few different mops, (spin mop, magic mop, wonder mop) the shark steam mop has never failed to amaze me with the power of nothing more than hot water! This is by far the most superior mop I have ever owned.

This mop is great...it has two mop pads which make things better when mopping my floors twice a week. Its great to have with having a dog and not having to use liquid cleaners which I don't like. Great investment....

This steam mop works really well and is easy to assemble and use. Only flaw is it doesn’t stand upright by itself. You have to lean it against something.

I'm very satisfied with this steam mop. I upgraded from the older version and couldn't be happier I did.

Used an older model for several years, and didn't replace it until getting this newer model. Noticeable improvements with the newer design, mostly with the mop head and steam production. The mop head is 'flippable' to allow cleaning more area before having to change a soiled mop head. Combine this with a noticeable increase in steam production and it is more effective at cleaning and less 'down time' to change a soiled mop head. A disadvantage would be that steam comes out both top and bottom of the mop head, losing some of the 'oomph' from the steam production, but not sure how that could really be improved while still having an easily flippable mop head. This little issue is actually not so much a big deal, as the 'steam boost' helps with extra dirty spots or sticky spills. Longer cord than earlier models is another good improvement, although the cord is pretty stiff and does not bend easily. This could be a plus as the cord is more rugged, so I will take this as a trade-off and a safer design. One drawback is that the steam mop does not stand up on it's own when stopping in the middle of cleaning to pick something up or answer the phone. Another trade-off, as adding more framework and 'kickstand' ability would add to the weight. Can't have everything, so I will accept the device for it's portability and light-weight design and put a hanging hook in the laundry room for storage when not in use. Easy to refill the water bottle. Main thing I have to keep in mind is to slow down a little in dirty areas to give the steam a chance to do it's job. Getting in a hurry can leave some soil and dirt behind, so it's a different pace and feel from a 'scrubber head' kitchen mop... don't get frustrated, just slow down and let the steam work on the soilage. Once you get the hang of that, the mop will have a chance to do it's job properly. Overall a handy device that generates a lot of steam, cleans a larger area due to reversible mop head, easy to disconnect the mop head and drop it in the washing machine. Good improvements from earlier models and glad I went ahead and tried the upgrade.
