I purchased this to use on my kitchen floor, entry way and area rugs in the kitchen. I have three dogs (a chug, beagle and basset hound/beagle mix). The chug sheds A LOT even though she is a smallish dog. I like how easy it is to pull out this vacuum and make a quick round through my kitchen to pick up the dog hair and dirt brought in from outside. Two complaints I have is when I am gliding the vacuum on the floor it tends to be stuck in the upright position. In turn I have push it down with my foot. I tend to always use the carpet setting as opposed to the floor setting on my kitchen floor. I feel it picks up more with the brushes moving. Emptying out the dirt collection compartment is super easy, just a push of a button. Just sometimes the dog hair does get wrapped around and I need to use my hand. Second complaint the handle is a little awkward to maneuver. Overall, a good little vacuum. I have had it for about a month. Hoping it won't lose suction since it does suck up a lot of dirt and dog hair.

I needed a new vacuum, or vacuum-like product when I moved into a small apartment. The first time I ordered the Shark, it came in a beat-up box with half the parts missing. I returned it and Best Buy sent me a replacement that was complete. I had it assembled in about 10 minutes and that includes wrestling with plastic and styrofoam packaging. I left it to charge over night and it worked great the following morning. I haven't had any problems since. The cheap plastic construction makes it nice and light weight. However, I wouldn't recommend it for households with heavy-duty vacuuming needs or high-activity households where it might get knocked around a bit. It is perfect for me in a small place with light use.

After switching to a non-shark brand, I ended up returning that one and opting for this one. So glad I did... should have known better! This shark works great! I have animals and it picks up their hair in addition to dirt really well. Canister is easy to empty and it charges pretty quickly. My only complaint would be the battery life. At a full charge if I don't move quick enough I can't get just the hard floors in my house done before the battery dies (my house is not big nor is every room hard floors). I just try to move quicker and not be quite so OCD. Overall I love this vacuum for upkeep in between heavy duty vacuuming.

Love this cordless vacuum; does a great job on wood floors and carpet. Well made, light weight and easy to operate. This is the second Shark Vaccuum I have purchased, love their products.

This vac is so light weight and easy to use. No cords to deal with and easy storage. My son in law has one for his study and I loved it so much, I just had to have one.

So far, very happy, battery lasts long enough to do kitchen stairs, halls and upstairs. Charger base is nice as no need to plug and unplug the cord. Only annoyance is thatn the powerhead is easy to get into locked position and then must be released (with foot) to continue cleaning

Excellent cordless vacuum. Can vacuum my entire house, both carpet and wood on one charge. Lightweight and east to use.

I absolutely LOVE this vacuum! I have arthritis in my back, knee and hands so vacuuming is very hard sometimes. This vacuum is so lightweight yet it has so much power. I only wish the battery lasted a little longer. That's not to say it has a short battery life because it doesn't. I can almost finish everything but not quite.

Wlorks well on my rugs and bare floors and no complaints on battery life .I am very pleased with this sweeper!!

I use this to vacuum hardwood floors. It picks up everything and leave the floor clean for the steam mop

I had a less expensive battery operated model of Shark, but it didn't hold the charge long or pick up well. This Navigator has great suction power for a small battery powered quick vacuum. I have a very hairy cat which I swear walks around shedding on purpose, and this picks it up! Quick empty in the garbage, put it back on the charger and all ready for the next day. It does come in handy, if someone is coming over, and you don't want to drag out the big vacuum with the cord.

Great cordless vacuum for the money with decent suction. Doesn't have any attachments. Great for people with stairs.

This vacuum is great for RV use, it cleans well, and holds a charge for long uses

We like this vacuum so much we have three of them. Great for quick cleanup of hard surface floors or carpet. We have a long hair cat and it handles the fur balls with ease. Replacement battery packs are expensive though, so keep this in mind. I wish Makita would make a portable vacuum like this!

I was looking to replace my old, light weight Shark for cleaning carpet and wood floors as it wasn't able to hold a charge. The new vacuum has more power and cleans a lot better. I'm very pleased with this improved product.

Easy to use and stays charged for the whole house, Heavy to move between rooms. The dust accumulates too quickly and needs to be emptied after two rooms. The price was well worth.

My Mom is not able to handle a heavy vaccum so this was perfect. She loves the ease of use and pick up quality. Great job Shark.

I like the cordless factor and ease of maneuvering. Cannot believe after 7 hr charge, it runs for 18 minutes. Use it until it dies and then recharge for 7 hours. Pretty sad.

This is amazing cleaner. I have two cats, and plenty of cat hair and plenty of litter. I swear it works better than my regular vacuum cleaner. So easy to use.

Not only was the purchase price the best I could get, but the assistance I received when buying it was great.
