So far, so good, but I've only been using it for 3 weeks. Great suction; seems stronger than Dyson animal 10, which died after 3 years. Easy to empty, cannister needs emptying after 3 rooms vacuumed.

Everything works great for my apartment! The suction is awesome and has significantly cut down the time I spend sweeping and vacuuming. The only drawback is the size of the dust bin, but I don’t mind it because the powerful suction allows me to fully vacuum underneath my bed with ease. I’ve already recommended this product to several people, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an efficient vacuum.

Excellent suction, light weight, the dual beater brushes are wonderful on carpets, the long cord is a very convenient feature. If it was a little more convenient to detach the beater brush and attach the accessories it would be ideal.

I was looking for a lightweight vaccuum cleaner that was accessible to getting under furniture & battery free. Very happy with Shark's corded cleaner. Very good suction and weighs only 9 lbs. Highly recommend.

Finally a light weight sweeper that can handle all the dog hair! I've had several battery sweepers. This corded sweeper has much more power.

I absolutely love this vacuum! Works with my hardwood floors and carpet. It is amazing the way it can detect and adjust between hard flooring and rug. I was so tired of my cordless vacuum loosing its charge before I finished with a room. I never have to worry about this with the shark. The cord is long and easy to manage. It’s very satisfying to empty the dust bin and see how much cat hair and dirt it can pick up. This is a strong vacuum, it even made the cat tree look like new.

Awesome vacuum cleaner. I have a dog who shed quite a bit, I vacuumed my rug with another type of Shark, and after vacuuming, I went over the rug with this model and was very surprised on how much hair was still left and it picked up. Love that you can go from carpet to floor, with ease. well worth the money spent.

I love this vacuum! It is very light and extremely powerful! Plus, it's got a hair detangler on it. Hair used to get tangled on the roller of my old vacuum. Not on this one!

Spent a lot of time going over reviews of different vacuums before we settled on this one. Hands down one of the best vacuums I’ve owned. The best part is the easy to release floor brush/unit. I always hated using the vacuum hose because it’s a pain to drag the rest of the vacuum around with you. If you have pets or kids, you will appreciate how easy it is to use this as a wand to get into those tight spaces and along the edges of walls. It also does a great job with picking up larger pieces that many other vacuums just push around. My only complaint is that it does not work well on area rugs. It just has too much suction. Other than that, it’s really a great machine.

The powerful Shark - Powerdetect Ultra-Light Corded vacuum is very powerful. However, the vacuum has a limited capacity to hold dirt and must be emptied frequently. Otherwise, it is a great vacuum

I got this for my wife after she had tried a friend's vacuum, and she loves it. I have to agree. It's a very good vacuum, and it picks up everything easily. Parts are readily available and it's easy to clean as well. 10/10 score.

I picked up this Shark vacumn cleaner on a whim since our old one is about three years old. We had a Shark rocket in the past and it was an effective vacumn in terms of ckeaning power. Assembly was easy and i was impressed with the overall power it had. It managed to pickup dirt from my living room rug that was left behind by my old vacumn that was cleaned two days before. Overall a great vacuum and highly recommend.

Absolutely love this new vacuum! Its lightweight, easy to maneuver and really holds its own up against my 4 dogs and their crazy shedding.

Having two children, a husband and now a Shepard....crumbs and fur are a constant issue. This picks it all up, no problem. And all the accessories allow for endless cleaning options. Which is very therapeutic!
