I've been looking for portable bluetooth speakers for a while and i'm happy to say I finally found the right ones! It doesn't come with just one, but TWO speakers. They work AMAZING. It's not too heavy and not too light. It feels just right in your hands. It was super easy to pair up with my devices as well. It's very sleek and has speakers on both sides! The bass on it is top notch. The buttons aren't sticky unlike a lot of products i've looked at and tested - they also light up! That's a major plus. There's a sound for pretty much everything - connecting, powering on/off, etc, that makes it easy to work your device. I really enjoy that it doesn't require batteries and you can just charge it via a microusb cable, OH! it also comes with a wall charger!! Thats another major plus! I have no complaints about this device so far. It hasn't ran out of batteries on me yet and i've used it a couple days already. Will update on the charging process when the time comes.

Found these on deal of the day and thought I would give them a try. They were mediocre at best and had very little volume. I would not recommend if you were trying to use in a larger room. I'm not sure I would recommend them for a small room. There are much better options out there.

I like to pair the speakers for siimultaneous play

I have been very satisfied with SHARKK’s Bluetooth Surround Sound Wireless Boombox Buddy Set. I was provided a free sample of the Boom Box Buddies by SHARKK for a fair, honest and unbiased review. This was an easy review since the product worked so well. When I first unpacked the speakers I immediately noticed that they were very sturdy. They have a solid feel but still very mobile. The box includes two speakers, two wall chargers for both, travel bags and aux cords. The instructions are straightforward and I had the speakers operating within 10 minutes. Once you have gone through the setup for the Bluetooth connection to your device and pairing the two speakers, it is easy to follow without instructions the next time. Additionally, the speakers can also be directly attached to your device through auxiliary cords and they can also be chained together in aux mode. Both speakers have full controls and give audio signals as to when they are properly paired together. The speakers can provide actual left and right speaker capability. The sound is strong and clear. They handle higher volumes without distortion. I also used them for viewing streaming video and they can be placed to provide excellent surround sound. Here are some of the features I also found helpful. The Bluetooth connection on your device displays the battery life of the speakers. The speakers also include a microphone and can be use to receive and make phone calls. I used an iphone which worked well with Suri , Further, the batteries remain charged for a long time. The manufacture indicates 18 hours and I used them initially for many number hours without the first charge and they are still running strong. The only minor complaint is adjusting for auxiliary mode as you have to make a few adjustments out of Bluetooth mode. Overall, I found the speakers to work well in both smaller and larger rooms and I am looking forward to using them outside for summer parties. Whether you need them only for the convenience of one speaker or the added richness of both, you will not be disappointed with the new SHARKK Boom Box Buddy.

I picked up this product the other day as I was looking for a decent bluetooth speaker and this one caught my attention. What I was interested to find out was if they work as two individual speakers or only when paired and so that was the first thing I checked out at home. And yes, they work beautifully as a surround sound environment for my office space and they also can function as two separate speakers (my wife sometimes needs a speaker to bring to her classroom and she"ll borrow one of them). The sound itself is great and I would recommend.

Two small portable speakers sync'd to provide superb sound. The speakers were very easy to pair, as long as you follow the instructions step by step. Each step makes a sound which confirms the pairing etc. I'm very particular about sound quality from speakers and always prefer hearing from several speakers than just one. When I saw this product from Sharrk, I thought let's give it a go and to be honest I was very impressed indeed. I have a very large den and deck, so whether inside or outside I have thoroughly enjoyed playing music from various sources from my smartphone and tablet. The sound is rich and clear, both bass and treble are excellent. There is hardly any distortion when I have the volume high and loud. I must say it beats the most of branded portable speakers on the quality and loudness! A great purchase which I would recommend to all.
