I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. So my first thoughts upon receiving this speaker was how much it weighed. It was far heavier than most speakers and just seemed extremely durable and well built. Inside the box you will get the speaker, a carrying bag, the charger, a 3.5mm audio cable, and the manual. So before you can use it you have to charge it for 2 hours first. You can tell its charging since the power button will turn red and when its done charging the light will go away. Syncing it is easy enough. All you do is hold the play/pause button and it will enter pairing mode and then you just go on your device and pair them. I found that you can use the speaker about 30 feet from the device and it will go through at least 2 thin walls and still stay connected. You can answer phone calls using this as well and even talk to Siri. If you hold the phone button in you can switch between the Bluetooth and AUX mode. The phone system is really easy to learn and all it is that if you want to talk to Siri you just hold the phone button in for 3 seconds. If you want to answer a call you just click it and if you don't want to answer a call you hold it in a few seconds. Also you just press it twice to redial. The nice thing about this speaker that I have never seen in other speakers is that you can charge your device using the speaker. The battery on the speaker lasts around 10 hours and if your charging a device it will shave off a few hours. It connected to all my devices perfectly. From a tablet, iPhone, computer, and mp3 they all worked on this speaker perfectly. There also is a headphone plug in as well as a mic plugin. I'm not sure why you would use the mic plug in since just talking into it is clear enough and the people I have talked to on the phone by just talking into the speaker understand me clearly, but its there I guess. Also this device has NFC for easy connecting. As for the sound quality of this thing it sounds amazing. It has a built in subwoofer and an amplifier so it gets really load and the bass and everything about the sound is unmatchable. It can easily fill up an entire room and if your having a party just crank it up full blast and it drowns out the noise. If you use it outside it wont be as good as it is inside but it still gets really loud and sounds great, just not as good as it does inside. The only thing though is that if you get a call while you have the music on it will interrupt the music and say that you have a call. I wish there was a feature that would allow you to turn this off since it really kills a party to have that happen plus I can feel if my phone is vibrating. Also the bottom of the speaker is rubber and because of that you have to be extremely careful where you set this thing other-wise it will get extremely dirty on the bottom and it isn't easy to clean. Finally I would like to mention that to change the volume you hold in the +or- buttons and to change the songs you just click them. Overall this speaker is an extremely good quality speaker at an affordable price. The sound is awesome and it gets extremely loud and has excellent sound quality. The design is really spiffy and looks cool. The carrying bag makes it easy to carry this beast around and I feel this thing will never break since its so well built unless you literally abuse the thing. It connected to all my devices easy and the controls are easy to learn. I highly recommend this speaker.

I have been a big fan of Sharkk for last few years and when they ask me to provide my honest feedback on their new Bluetooth Portable Speaker, I was more than happy to do so. Let me start by saying, this product packaging couldn't be more professional and well put through together. When you open box, you can smell the freshness of new product as we expect from other big companies. Here are list of items in the box • Audio cable (to be used as AUX but you won't need it if you have Bluetooth but it is good to have) • Power Adapter • Carry Pouch (a pleasant nice surprise!) • Detail and easy user manual • Last but not least, the Bluetooth Speaker and Power Bank When you take the Speaker out, it is a SOLID unit! The grooves around it makes it easier to grab and the bottom protected surface keeps your desk, table or just shelf scratch-less. The manual ask you charge for 2 hrs before using it, however if you are impatience as me, it will work within minutes after you plug it in. Pairing with your smart was a breeze and yes it even tells you that is paired, you don’t have to guess. Looking at speaker with solid construction you would think it can play some good bass, well let me say YOU won’t be disappointed. Almost every song I played had clear sound and bass as needed. During one of the song I got a phone call, and Siri lets me know 3 times “Incoming call”. A useful feature to have. If you are looking easy portable speakers with great sound and solid constructions, go get this baby today!

This is the first bluetooth speakers I have ever had. But I've been researching as well as doing actual test on bluetooth speakers before. This is a very good portable speaker for the price, loud and clear sound with deep bass. NFC function allow it to pair with devices simply by placing the device on it. The only thing that annoys me is when it's running out of battery there would be "battery low" warning voice every few minutes.

Works amazingly no issues what so ever thinking of buying another one for better sound quality.

Firstly, I was provided with a free copy of this item for testing and my fair and honest evaluation. This product came to me in a safe box containing a protective foam casing insuring its safe arrival. its contents were the 15 watt Bluetooth speaker, a power adapter which seems very sturdy, and a two way AUX cable. The first thing I noticed during the unboxing was the size of this device. I probably wont be putting it in my slim backpack but it does come with a nice carrying bag for it, which is fine for throwing into my car. which bring me to the other thing i noticed. This thing is a tank! so any outdoorsy types will love this cause it can take a beating. The speaker displays 5 pressable buttons in the front: power, call, play/pause, -, +. It also displays 4 ports in the back: headphones, AUX, OUT DC 5V USB, and a DC 10V. The manual says to charge it for 2 hours but it only took me a little under an hour to charge and it lasted the full 10 hours. (I turned it on and went to work.) The speaker has a lot of nice features like Bluetooth , taking calls, next track/previous track, paperweight, led lights for jamming at night, a grip pad on the bottom to stop it from rolling or falling, and my favorite, NFC pairing. you can actually tap the top of the speaker to pair your phone or other NFC device to the speaker without the hassle of dealing with your internal Bluetooth settings. Now, lets get to the sound. This speaker ROCKS. i filled an entire retail store with it while closing. it has fantastic bass and great treble (60Hz - 20Khz) the only thing I disliked about it was the mid range was a tad bit much. Plays any kind of electronic music very well and does great with rock and any other mainstream type of music. I would recommend this speaker to anyone looking for a SOLID, fantastic sounding, and portable speaker for under $100.

Of course receiving something for free may impact any review, but I can honestly say this is a solid product and worth the cost listed here. I have delayed my review a bit simply because I wanted to see if I would actually use and benefit from this Speaker. It has served its purpose on several occasions. I have used it in my office both as a charger and speaker. Packaging - shipped in solid packaging that was padded well, there is no way this should be damaged in shipping. Comes with the charging cable and a cloth bag for carrying and keeping from dust. Ease of setup - Charged it for the recommended time of two hours and easily got 8-10 hours of use before recharging. Powered up and started the pairing process, which connected without a hitch on the first try. Have not had any issues connecting via bluetooth at any point. I have not figured out the NFC option, but I am confident that is user error, and not really necessary. Buttons/Features - Has power, phone, play/pause, and volume or track buttons. I will say that everything works as advertised, but remembering the button combination to make things work takes a little bit of a learning curve. It is as simple as pressing or long pressing combinations, but if I had a complaint, I wish that I didnt have to think before pressing, but not a deal breaker. I like the ability to answer my phone while listening to music. This comes in handy when at the office and having hands free talking that seems to be clear enough. The sound through the speaker for calls is plenty clear, and nobody has complained when I have used this method to talk with them. Sound Quality - This is not a surround sound experience, and sound at maximum volumes can be a bit distorted. The speaker is plenty loud, and I have yet to have a need to turn the sound all the way up other than for testing. All of my testing has been done with an LG G3 phone connected to the speaker. I would rate the sound quality a 4 considering the size and a 3 if I was just rating pure sound quality. I think it is important to consider what you are using. If I wanted stereo, hi quality, sound I would not be buying this device. For the market of portable bluetooth speakers I would say the sound quality is very good. Use as a Power Bank - I think this is probably the feature that has me most interested in buying a second unit. When at my office, my desk is small and the compact speaker size is great, add the sound from that compact space and the device is solid. Add to it that I can give my phone a fast charge when needed is a nice bonus. The manual also claims that you can connect more than one speaker together. I have a feeling I will be buying a second speaker to keep at home so this one can stay at my office. I will test this out and edit the review if I do end up buying a second one. I also will get a video review posted as time allows and after using it for a little longer. Overall, this is a quality device. I have bought a few other Sharkk products and so far I have not had any issues with their products. If you are looking for a speaker that is compact, practical, and provides powerful sound this is a worthy option. I use in a small office and a large living room and the sound fills the room well.
