Great compact microwave easy to use heats up evenly and nice to look at

Purchased this for my mother to replace a Panasonic that died. Needed a smaller size microwave that could fit onto a shelf, this model fit the bill and it's 1000 watts which is a good power level for this size. Controls are similar to her previous microwave so that helps with ease of use. There is a child lock feature which i disabled, because it would just be frustrating to my elderly mom. So far, seems to be working fine!

This microwave was purchased to replace a Sharp Carousel that we had owned and used since 1995. This new model is almost identical in features as the old version. It looks great in our kitchen and runs very quietly. My only complaint is that it lacks a preprogrammed button for cooking rice, which our older model had and we used a lot. I checked the manual and Sharp did not include any instructions for cooking rice. Except for this small quibble, it's a nice microwave and I am happy with the purchase.

My space for a microwave is limited and this fits perfectly. Easy to use features. Cooks well.

Compact, attractive, good cooking options -- I bought this to replace a Sharp microwave that lasted almost 15 years, so this is a brand I highly recommend.

I bought this on a crazy sale for $100 I think. Could not be happier with the power. Just enough to get most reheating done in 30-50 seconds for a bowl or 1:20 for a meal. If you want a strong microwave look for 1200-1300w inverter microwaves. Those are mean. PS: (There is a LARGE sticker on the door telling you how to disable the child lock when you get this thing. Its made to stop kids from dropping hot food on themselves. Law that microwaves have this after 2024 or something.)

Outstanding microwave. Very easy to use and cooks or heats everything great. Larger than I thought but it's perfect. Great price also!

I really like my Sharp 1.1 cu ft 1000W microwave. Very similar to the Sharp 1997 that just quit, except it runs so quiet. It does everything I want and then some.

Works great and has a nice style. Only thing I would change is I need an automatic setting for :30 instead of 1 minute. But that's a minor thing. The microwave works very well.

This SHARP replaces a similar SHARP that lasted 22 years. Here's hoping this one lasts a long time too. Microwave delivered in perfect condition and on time by a friendly gentleman. Even though item is not made as reliably SOUND as the old one, it is working well and I am happy with the purchase. I would buy it again.

I was looking for a mid size microwave and this one is perfect. It's a little shorter then I thought but that's my own fault. Everything else is perfect!

I opted for this one over the 900 watt toy microwaves. They just don't have enough power. This thing is very powerful and looks good!

Strong, heats quicl, has a chils locked, so you kust cant open it. Your able to take it odd. Its a great microwave.

We had a Sharp microwave that a friend gave us. It was an old one, probably one of the first to come out. We wore it out over the years. This one is a little difficult to understand at first, especially if your elderly. Once you do, you'll be glad you bought it. It's great. You can't beat Sharp products!

Works great, and I'm happy with my purchase. It's heavy duty, and it's a great way to reheat, or microwave entrees.

Great little microwave! Plenty of power and small footprint. The child lock safety feature is not my favorite, but all the other features make up for it!
