Have not been able to install as of yet, still waiting to renovate my kitchen! Looked very hard for the perfect drawer microwave & Sharp is the leader! Plus great reviews on this as well! I’m friend has the other model & is very happy.

We bought our first one in Dec 2016 for our new home, along with 13k in other kitchen appliances. The salesman forgot to put the extended warranty on it so when it when bad in 2020 we had to replace the $1,200 unit ourselves. It was knocking and smoking at the end. We bought another just like it ,but made sure we had the warranty this time. Just 4 weeks later it was getting very hot to the touch even though we had not used it recently. I returned it for the Bosch model, which I hear is made by sharp. I hope to have better results. Easy install and removal was a plus though and otherwise the drawer worked fine and the features were nice. Buy something else or at least make sure you have the warranty!

This microwave is functional and stylish. I was concerned that the food would not cook properly because it didn't rotate but that was not the case. The only thing I would change is a fully lit instrument panel.

So easy to install , easy to set up. Didnt have any issues. Only thing to look out is you make sure you have an outlet on the left side of it

Initial product was damaged. Best Buy customer Care replaced product and took back damaged item in a few days. Microwave drawer has no issues. Make sure to vent appropriately especially if flush mounting.

Never had a drawer microwave before and it’s great! I’m never going back to a wall mounted microwave. It’s so convenient and so much tidier. Does everything a microwave needs to do.

I would not buy this again. I wasn't wild about its performance--- you have to look up a code to cook vegetables; it is not flush with cabinets. But the real issue is that the glass spontaneously shattered after 2 years and now I have to spend $350+ to get a new door. It was not in use and no one had accidentally hit it or even touched it when we heard a pop and it looked like someone had hit it with a brick. Apparently, some doors have a defect in the glass that causes that to happen--- but Sharp does "not recognize" this as a defect. It was an expensive microwave to begin with... now more so.

Installation of this unit into an existing 30” cabinet was simple for me. It looks great and is performing flawlessly so far. Very happy with this purchase.

Everything has worked great! It’s even better than I expected!

When it comes to microwaves, sharp is my #1 choice. I love how you can hide the top control bar. Definitely free up space on my kitchen counter top

I'm remodeling a small kitchen and don't want to give up any counter space. By building this microwave into a cabinet, I'm gaining more space. I like the hidden controls that allow you to program the unit without bending down.

So far so good, really neat microwave and seems to work well. Looks easy to clean too!

Drawer microwave that is. Sharp puts control panel where you can see it! ALL other brands designed control panel facing down not up. With the Sharp you don’t have to crouch down to operate!

Looks great in our island. I’m so glad we went with the microwave drawers and the press open feature is nice.

Works great. Quiet too. Wish you could press the open/close button midway through opening or closing and stop/then reverse direction. Sometimes you don't need for it to open all the way.

We purchased a Sharp micro wave drawer as a Christmas present for our son. It fit perfectly into a space where their old on was. The best feature is the drawer automatically comes out or retracts and it has many setting controlled by sensors in the unit.

Love this built in drawer microwave! We have a tight kitchen and this built in definitely saves room. Looks sleek and modern and works great !

The drawer feature is nice, but you do pay a lot extra for the look and the function of the drawer. We do like how it fits into our kitchen island...time will tell how durable it is.

I purchased my new Sharp built-in Microwave drawer to replace another older one and I loved the older one and I love this new one, too. Sharp makes an excellent microwave drawer. I'm a short person and it was always a safety issue to have to reach high up over a stove to use a common microwave. Bought my first Sharp microwave drawer over 7 years ago and this new one is wonderful, too. Highly recommend; the controls have a drop-down feature which hides them until used; very clean look.
