The Bad: They need the serial number which is on the back of the unit. Unit is on shelf and big, so have to get someone to help me move it. Sigh... The Ugly: The rep, although I purchased the unit in Feb 2015, told me if the serial number shows that it was manufactured it more than 1 year ago, I will have to jump through hoops to get this resolved. So much for Sharp customer service!

The problem is, it applies FAR too much energy to the smallest thing. Take, for example, the Reheat button. With my previous microwaves, this implies that the microwave senses the plate is done heating, and shuts off. Not with the Sharp Carousel! I just hit the button to reheat a small quesadilla, and 30 seconds in it looks complete. However, there were still 3 minutes left on the clock! The "handy" 30-second-plus button doesn't work while the microwave is in action...which is entirely the point of this button! One of the features I wanted was something like this, where I could add time to the cook while it was in action. What a farce. I highly recommend you buy something else until Samsung can figure out a reasonable user interface.

Just stopped working

So, why did this just stop working? 6 months, max, is how long it worked. Severely dissatisfied with this. I have no way to return it, either. I had it shipped to home because my car is too small to tote a microwave. Also, I do not have packaging. Seriously, who keeps a box a microwave comes in? Why would it break down?
