This microwave has a lot of power and does its job -- heating food. It has a lot of space and is reasonably quiet, although it sometimes vibrates a bit loudly. It has nice features such as repeating beeps when the program is done, so you don't forget to take out the food. My main complaint is with programs, which seem really fancy but are somewhat useless. It can soften butter and ice cream, for example, but it doesn't ask you how much you have, so if you put in the wrong amount, you get soup. It can cook veggies for you but doesn't ask if you want them hard or soft, so everything comes out mushy. I got the oven in part because of its program features but at this point I just eyeball the time and go from there.

Our microwave stopped working and since we'd had it for quite a few years decided to purchase this more updated version as a replacement. Really just not as happy with the controls and options and cook times. The quick times just aren't quite right for heating water or making popcorn as we end up with lukewarm water and lots of unpopped popcorn. I like the large size (which is why we were looking for the newer model because I'd gotten used to being able to cook a larger dish). Wouldn't buy it again.

Have had it for a month, worked great. Looked in it this morning and see that the inside had warpped and almost cracked? Bringing it back to best buy. Needed a small microwave to fit inside an opening. Shame.

It's 1200 watts as opposed to the 1000 watts I had before. Makes a huge difference. Love that you can just hit a number and it will cook for that number's minutes. No more entering the 00 also. Time saver, between the higher wattage and the timing. Also, easy to clean.

Needed a large microwave to fill the spot. The inside capacity is even more than the old one. Lots of cooking options

The only thing I don't like about the microwave is it's difficult to figure out how to do just 5 seconds or anything under the settings times.

Needed a full size microwave to fit in a cabinet that is dedicated to the appliance. It fit beautifully. A lot of features-more than I'll ever use. Appears to be good quality. Cannot give it a "great "rating. I have only had it 1 month. So cannot speak to its continued quality.

This microwave was suppose to be temporary. It has worked so well, we decided not to purchase a larger convection microwave to replace the one that originally went out. Great purchase at a great price.

I bought an identical previous version of this microwave about 3 years ago. It burnt up. However I liked it so much that I bought the same but newer version because I had enough Best Buy rewards to cover the cost. so far this one is working well. BE AWARE that anything that gets on the interior of the fiberglass cover of the magnetron will burn it up. Starts with loud zapping noises and flashes of lights. Be careful with anything that puts too much moisture on the inside glass door. If it accumulates, let it dry out before restarting the zapper. Replace the fiberglass if you have problems or discoloration, they're cheap to find online and cut to size.

I like the Sharp brand of products, and this microwave is no different. It has a nice interior size, easy door open button, and a decently quiet function.

This is a great microwave. Our previous one lasted 14 years. The only minor problem is that the stainless steel one shows fingerprints too easily. The white or black one would be much better, but it was not availalbe when we needed to replace our old microwave.

I replace our microwave at work every year and couple hundred down the drain. This is the first time buying a Sharp and it's been the best microwave so far. Heats up real good and plenty of room for large bowls. I don't think I'll be replacing this anytime soon. This is one microwave you shouldn't pass up. Better quality and cost less than the last microwave I trashed. It's real easy to control. Has several options and timers that make life easier in the kitchen. Best Buy had the lowest prices that I could find. I will shop appliances here from now on. Thanks

Since we had our old Sharp for over 25years we got a new one to replace it. A little different from the old one but we like it.

The microwave has a lot of room, easy to use and a number of functions that are automatic. The whole family has been using this new microwave in the short time that we have purchased this unit. I would highly recommend this device to friends and family.

I bought this microwave oven to replace a Panasonic microwave oven that lasted just over two years. It lasted just past the two year extended warranty. :( I haven't had any problems with the new microwave oven, it does cook the food fast.

Bought this microwave to replace a GE Profile that lasted 10 years. This microwave looks great and has all the features my GE did at nearly half the price. It fit perfectly in my wall unit trim from the GE, so it was a win-win all around!

This Sharp microwave is very sleek and works very well. Food is hot on first attempt. I am overall very pleased with this product! I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a good Stainless Steel Microwave!
