I just got it installed today hence the delay in reviewing. I love it but a little hard to figure how to put together. Instructions could be a little more clear. It looks great with microwave.

Good product. Fitted nicely in microwave cabinet opening. It will be a better product if a feature is added to balance the space around the microwave so the installation looks professional.

It is expensive but it is all stainless steel, no plastic and well made. I only wish that the face did not extend out from the cabinet as far as it does. The size was right on for covering my existing opening.

Among the most poorly engineered and overpriced items I've had the displeasure of purchasing. I was purchased to replace the install/trim kit for my sadly expired former microwave. Even thought the new oven was identical in dimensions to the old, some subtle tweaks to the chassis meant it wouldn't fit into the old surround. So now I find that the newer/better/updated kit is going to cost almost $300 (!!!). For an oven that cost $190! Plus, I had to spend a half a day remaking the cabinet face to fit. A job, I assure you, well outside the skill set of the average homeowner. It gets better. For some insane reason, the height of this piece is about 2 inches more than it needs to be for any imaginable reason and it sticks out 1/2" farther than the oven - why? - so it's flat surfaces are vulnerable to damage and may need to be replaced? Overall, replacing this oven consumed around $1000 worth of resources. I'll never buy another Sharp product - don't want to encourage them. Oh, and the oven 's controls are fiddly and counterintuitive, and it doesn't cook as evenly as the 10 year old oven it replaced.

Fits and matches finish of microwave. These were the 2 most important reasons that I purchased a ready-made trim kit. I was considering a custom-made one but this one met my needs.

The trim fits perfect with the sharp microwave it’s more expensive than the microwave

The print on the instructions that are on the upper panel is very small. I wish there was an easy way of enlarging the print so at least I would have copy of the instructions. I also preferred that defrost instructions on my older (over 20 years old) Sharp Microwave. They were both eligible and had easy instructions for different types of meat.

It is a clip/on method. Would prefer a screw based method

Out of box does not give a clean built in look like older kits did. Also can be difficult to work with depending on your application.

We bought a Sharp microwave but the steel frame was not immediately available and your staff were extremely helpful to locate a replacement from another location and eventually had it installed properly on a second visit. Price was reasonable and we are very pleased

This kit trims out the microwave installation nicely.

Easy to install. However, Frame does not fit perfectly. Gap around the microwave.

Looks great with our GE profile microwave. Clean look.

too expensive for just the look, sizing is not standard to something 5 years ago

I got this microwave for the space I have in a kitchen cabinet. It really looks great and matches my stainless steel refrigerator. The kids are able to easily warm up their food while they have been at home doing classes on zoom. We are really happy with it and have received many compliments.
