The first microwave had to be return because of a dent. When you have this microwave installed MAKE SURE TO have it manually adjusted. It wouldn't heat food up. We had to have a Sharp technician come out. It was less than a 5 minute fix. But the inside door has to be taken apart to make the adjust. It has worked perfectly ever since!!

This microwave is the best! It works great and solves many problems. I hate over the stove microwaves, because I want a hood vent for my stove. I don't want to give up counter space to a microwave. I don't want a microwave anywhere else up high so I have to pull hot liquid from above my head. Problem solved, great working, great looking drawer microwave. This is my second kitchen remodel and this is my second drawer microwave. Well worth the extra money.

Purchased the Sharp 30" 1.2 cu, ft Built-in Microwave Drawer s/s to be added to our new remodeled kitchen, which is currently under construction. We believe it shall be an excellent space saver with convenient access.

The same microwave in the 24" version is just repackaged into this 30" housing. The only benefit is that it might match your other appliances' width.

Love the drawer microwave...wish there were more companies that made them so the price would come down. The new model replaced one that we had that stopped working. I don't like the open/close button but that's just being picky. Overall best design for a microwave...no counter space is used...doesn't interfere with stove/oven. Very convenient

I was not sure how I would like the drawer option for a microwave, but it has been great. The clean lines in my kitchen now due to clearing off the clutter on the countertop is great. Great advice as well when you get yours, keep a plate cover to keep the unit inside clean (since it's a bit harder to see any splatter now on the top of the unit on the inside). Excellent choice and good quality so far.

We just renovated the kitchen and wanted our microwave in the island cabinet. We were not planning on a drawer microwave and I balked at the price. The convenience is great. The drawer makes using it at such a low level a breeze and the control panel folds out for easy visibility. Otherwise to me a microwave is a microwave. Great if you need something low in an island.

We purchased this built-in microwave drawer as we had decided to purchase a double wall oven unit. We did not want to have standalone microwave on our kitchen counters. This unit is sleek and blends into our kitchen and looks great. The control panel pulls out and ensures that the front looks sleek and clean.

Love this microwave! We remodeled our kitchen and wanted to put the microwave down below the counter so it's out of the way. This was the perfect solution as it acts just like a drawer. And the display pops out so it's easy to read without having to bend over to see it!

Previous owners had the normal cabinet level Sharp microwave. 13 years old, working but we replaced it with the new drawer installed model. Love the new height of this as the previous one was a little too high of a reach for me. Works as good as the old one which is why we chose this brand to update our appliance. Great features!

The Sharp microwave drawer is a great solution to a necessary appliance that we wish we didn’t need- the microwave. This is easily placed in an island where function is great, but it’s not right smack over the range acting like it is supposed to be the center of attention. It’s actually good looking, too.

The microwave looked good- except the control panel didn't allow it to be flush against the cabinet. It was either cut the cabinet or buy a different microwave drawer. I am doing the latter.

All drawer micros are crazy expensive and all are made by Sharp. This one is fine, but I wonder if they did any product testing on the controls. For example, to use the pre programmed functions for things such as potatoes, etc. you need to remember what the 'code' for that particular item is. (Who does that???) NOTE: We are on our second microwave, and after 2 weeks it still works. The first one (same model) lasted 4 DAYS and then smelled like burnt rubber and quit heating!!! Unbelievable for a $1200 microwave!!! What I've learned: drawer microwaves are really cool and look great in your high-end kitchen. But they are no bargain.

Love the drawer concept. Makes it so much easier to clean and use. The tilt down control feature is a must have. My only complaint is that oven was damaged in the box. However, they have promised to replace it with a new model.

Initial product was damaged. Best Buy customer Care replaced product and took back damaged item in a few days. Microwave drawer has no issues. Make sure to vent appropriately especially if flush mounting.

Installation of this unit into an existing 30” cabinet was simple for me. It looks great and is performing flawlessly so far. Very happy with this purchase.
