This TV is very good at producing hi-end 4k and HDMI content, however, it does not handle black very well and often seems to be patch grey when it should be black. All non-HDMI content looks somewhat terrible (ghosting, poor upscaling, etc.). Returned it because I was told that this product could upscale basic content as well as handle the premium content. You can absolutely tell it has a 60Hz base refresh rate, so if you plan to watch ANYTHING other than hi-end content, try a TV with at least a 120Hz refresh rate. In case you are wondering, I ended up being extremely satisfied with a Samsung 46" SMART TV For roughly the same price as this one, and it handles HD content exquisitely + upconverts content seamlessly without sacrificing the deep blacks. (Base refresh rate of 120hz).

I purchased this TV because I wanted something new for my bedroom. The color is bright and the picture is great. I would recommend this produce to anyone. Try it you'll love it!

Setup was easy and mounting on the wall a snap. Picture Quality is good for the refresh rate. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice TV to watch your everyday shows on.

We think it has a great picture. Great to have the manual as part of the menu options. Very good value for the money.

Great picture, love the color of Sharp. Very slow connecting to wireless router though. My other devices in house connect much faster.

This television has a nice picture, however, for the price, it is overrated. In addition, the television remote is awful both for internet browsing and also changing the channel. It only has an up and down button - no numbers, so you literally have to go through all the channels to change the television. Very annoying. Lastly, the built-in WIFI is weak and is constantly losing its signal. I would not purchase this television again.

Over all this TV has an excellent picture.. The only minor complaint is that they should have had a remote with a back light.. Can't see the function buttons when your in bed all comfortable in the dark.. Oh well other then that TV is very good..

Nice tv for the price. Remote control is a little anemic, great 4k picture. Web services leave some to be desired.

This is a great first 4K UHD tv for any household to purchase; if you are looking for something simplistic and easy to operate, this will suffice nicely. Picture quality is good and the clarity is also good. The sound coming from the speakers I will refrain from addressing. Let me just say much is left to be desired.

Really great picture and a very decent size. Some things to watch out for...If you have an iPhone the mirror feature doesn't work and the TV does occasionally freeze when you try and use the apps or press the buttons too fast. I've had to unplug my tv a couple of times already. This freezing problem is avoidable though if you treat the tv like an old computer.

This TV is awesome. The picture is exquisite. All features are easy to use. The stand is more stable with legs on the ends instead of in the middle. Love the TV. BUY one!

This TV is fantastic for the price. The picture is great! Huge upgrade over 1080p, the colors are great and it upscales great. Only downside is the remote. Not sure what they were thinking by removing the number buttons, but it's not that big of a deal.

I almost didn't buy this TV because the reviews were a bit negative. Then I read them and learned that the only complaints concerned the remote control and the lack of a browser, neither of which I cared about. The picture quality is wonderful. The sound is good, and for me, the 43 inch screen is perfect. I'm SO glad that I chose this TV! I would do it again.

We were looking for a new bedroom TV and wanted a 40 inch hd. The picture was perfect and such a great price for 4k HD TV. Sharp has a quality product with the Aquios 43" ultra had TV. We are very pleased and would recommend this TV to everyone.

So far love this TV. Smart features are powerful; netflix integration is awesome. I'm running it via wi-fi and it works great. Only con if I had to choose would be that the colors get a little off if viewed at an angle. That and on pure-black scenes you can see banding in the backlight (not pure black but sort of a black, dark gray, black gradient). Awesome tv for the price!
