This TV was purchased for my bedroom. A tv I often watch without my glasses. This TV has a very good picture. From the side, the picture is surprisingly not as sharp (no pun intended). It does have Roku and the SMART tv features are very easy to use. Very user friendly. In my mind.... I did not pay a lot for this TV. And the purchase was a great value for the price.

This model from sharp is AWESOME! I bought the 43" for the master bedroom and I couldn't believe how easy it was to set it up. Beautiful 4K picture you can see the smallest details and the little remote is designed for simplicity it doesn't have 300 buttons on it just what you need and the volume adjustment on the side of the remote is genius. I was so impressed with this tv I bought another one two weeks later a must buy at Best Buy.

This is my first 4k TV, chosen in part because it is a Roku TV and I have used a Roku for several years and like the interface well enough. 43" is the perfect size for the place where I needed it, and Best Buy had a good sale price so that sealed the deal. I don't have much 4k content to feed it, but the few movies I have to stream look outstanding, and 4k Xbox games also are an improvement over the 1080p picture I had been used to. Starting "Shadow of the Tomb Raider" on the old TV and changing midway through to this TV was a very noticeable improvement. The image is of course even sharper and more detailed but the color was richer also. Initially I was worried that 1080p content might not look great, similar to how 480i content looked on a 1080p TV, but there was nothing to worry about, they still look excellent.
There's only a few negatives, and none are that bad. When the TV powers on it automatically connects to the wifi network, but it takes a minute, way longer than other devices I have take to connect, including a smaller smart TV in my bedroom upstairs. Only about a minute though, it's not that long, I can wait. The TV speakers are not great, particularly in the low end, but if you use a soundbar like I do or other audio system then this won't be a problem. My only real gripe is that with my previous TV I was able to leave headphones connected and just turn off the soundbar when I needed to not disturb my roommate, but now the optical output is also muted when the headphones are connected so I have to unplug them when using the soundbar. Not a dealbreaker, just a personal annoyance that may not affect the majority of others.
All in all this is an excellent TV with a great picture and it's easy to use. Sharp sells other sizes, and I imagine they would be the same. This size was perfect for my needs.

This tv was on sale for a good enough price $299. I hadn't planned to buy a TV with ROKU but I might one day be glad I did. It was very easy to set up. The only thing I didn't like was that the only way to enable the tv to get regular programming through my cable box I had to basically give up my rights to any privacy and let ROKU track and share my viewing habits and even create personalized advertising for me. Ugh! No thanks!!! There's a way to rescind the permissions after the fact but still I didn't appreciate that I couldn't just bypass that altogether! I'm still not so sure that other free programs like YouTube, etc. aren't also tracking and sharing my viewing habits on this tv. This violation of privacy really irks me!
Back to the tv itself. I like the quality of picture, the generic ROKU remote that comes with it is the most basic as they come. Not very intelligent or useful. The TV itself cannot be turned on or off without the remote, and there's no volume or channel controls on the tv itself, so you better make sure you don't lose your remote! The worst thing about it is the rear facing speakers. I have to have the volume turned all the way up to a minimum of 85 to hear tv shows or movies and that's when I'm alone and it's quiet in the house! Then of course it blairs when a commercial comes on. I might have to invest in a sound bar or speakers for the tv. I guess I'll keep the tv but had I known some of these things in advance, I would have bought another brand. I originally went to buy a larger LG to replace the LG I had for over 8 years but they were sold out. Sharp ROKU was my second choice. Knowing what I know now, I would probably rate it as my last choice.

I like Roku -- I have and enjoy one of the original streaming devices (Roku 3) on my main TV. I got this Roku TV for the bedroom because I don't have a DVR in there, but with wi-fi, I can still have plenty of viewing choices through Roku. The TV works very similarly to my streaming device. I would like the remote better if the buttons were a little more raised, as they are with my streaming device remote. It is hard to be sure what I'm pressing if I'm in a darkened room.
I leave the TV on Pandora most of the time, but when I actually watch it, the picture is fine, and the TV operates like any Roku. But for some reason, it seems to want to cut off once in a while -- not while I'm watching it, of course, but often, only maybe after a whole day of operation (12-18 hrs), I will go in the bedroom expecting to hear Pandora playing, and the TV will be off. Or else, the Roku function will have sort of "timed out," and the Roku "landscape" will be rolling past. Maybe this is an issue with Pandora timing out, but usually when that happens, it doesn't return to the Roku "landscape" screen, and I can restart it by pressing OK to the question "Are you still listening?"
So ... Roku seems to have a mind of its own, returning to the landscape screen now and then or the TV turning off altogether. With that said, none of this is really that big a problem. It isn't constant nor anything like frequent, and it is easily rectified. I do like the TV. I think the volume is a little unpredictable from channel to channel, but that is probably each channel's lookout.
The only other slightly negative thing has to do with the wi-fi connectivity. I don't know why, but I usually have to reconnect the wi-fi again if the TV has been turned off. Eight out of 10 times, I turn on the TV, and it is no longer "connected." It is quick and easy to reconnect, but a bit annoying.

Bought this to upgrade from an old 25" lcd. I have a high end LG for the living room and this isn't too far off in terms of picture quality. The colors are more vibrant on the LG but that isn't to say this TV is dissatisfactory in any way. Remote is simple and works great, setup was a breeze. Would be fine as a main tv. You may want something extra for sound if that was the case but for me and my purpose I couldn't ask for more. I might buy a second for my office (where my 25" ended up LOL).

We ditched our old tv for this roku tv and it is wonderful. Setup was easy, the picture is great, the price was reasonable, and the size works well for a medium- to large-size family room. It is wonderful not to have to deal with Firesticks, etc. We easily set up Amazon Prime, Netflix, and PBS for easy access and everything works as it should.

I bought this TV as a gift for my Step-Son for his Xbox One X. It is an awesome 4K TV and perfect for the Xbox One X and for his bedroom. The picture quality is stunning and well worth the cost. It also has a built in Roku TV Smart TV feature which could make cord cutting much easier in the future and not having to buy an extra device. I have other SharpTV’s and have been happy with Sharp products.

Easy setup and use, great sound, color and sound. This is our second sharp with Roku and they are our favorites! The remote has new features that are appreciated too. The only things we would like sharp to change it to allow a direct entry of a channel on antenna watching and the ability to switch between antenna and roku channels while staying in the app but I believe that is just a roku function

After agonizing over many reviews of TV's in this size and seeing the ones playing in the store I finally pulled the trigger and bought this TV. No regrets. The picture is great and setup was easy. It replaced a very old 22 inch TV in my bedroom. The built in ROKU is great and gives me more viewing choices.

Great crisp picture with easy set up and simple remote. The Roku gives you access to the spectrum app which was important for me. I was able to remove a cable box and stream live Tv and save some money monthly on my cable bill. Also the price for this Tv was fantastic. I would highly recommend this TV for anyone looking for a high quality tv at a low/reasonable price.

This TV has a great picture! It is our first smart TV and we can't believe all the channels we can get because we have Dish, Netflix and Amazon Prime. It's almost too many free channels/movies/shows. One negative is that I asked if this TV was cable of surfing the web, I was told that it would have a web browser installed but it doesn't and the one I tried installing through the app store doesn't work. Not the end of the world but I hate when these so called experts don't know what they are talking about. Other than that, no complaints, it's a great TV and the price was so low, I still gave it 5 stars.

I bought this TV for my mom. It was her first smart TV. I knew she would keep it for quite a while, so I wanted to get something that she would be pleased with for a long time. I have an older Sharp, it is at least 10 years old. It's not a smart TV and I have many newer and more expensive TVs, but it has the best picture of all! So I knew you would stand the test of time for my mom.
I also knew I needed to get something easy for her to use, so she wouldn't get frustrated with it. A lot of the newer technology is not necessarily user-friendly. She had had a Roku before, so this one having the Roku set up was perfect for her! It was really nice to be able to just plug it in and have her be able to set it up with what she likes and instantly be able to watch it.
And just because I wanted this for my mom, who is not tech savvy, does not mean that it is not high-quality and something I would buy for my own self. It is a great TV. I would highly recommend it and it will probably be the next TV I buy for myself. I will definitely recommend it to my kids when they need to upgrade.

Love this TV! It was easy to remove from the box and assemble. Easy to connect to internet wirelessly - just follow the on-screen prompts. The size is very nice since I don’t care for behemoth sized televisions and looks great in my living room. It has built-in Roku so cutting the cable cord was easy. No more cable bills. Yay!

I bought 2 of these TVs from Best Buy with the Black Friday specials. They are for each of my daughters. Once installed I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the picture and the ease of use. Love Roku as the base program of the TV. For the price I paid for each of them, I don’t think it could be beat.

I bought this television for my living room. My old one was not working anymore. I wasn’t too sold on the 4K, but this television works great. Colors are sharp and vivid, and I love this Roku version. Has Hulu, Netflix, amazon as well as many other channels. Great price and I wish I would have bought a second one.
