Good 4K tv for the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is my first 4K tv and I wasn’t looking into spending a lot. I replaced a Samsung 1080p 55in tv and it’s an improvement. It lacks HDR but for the money it’s a pretty good deal.

Posted .We have recently been advised of an issue on certain TV models where the TV volume changes without user input. Our analysis correlates this with certain third party universal remote control applications (for example, the Peel universal remote app) resident on smart phones or tablets on the same local Wi-Fi network as the television. You can resolve the issue by uninstalling the remote control applications from your smart phone or tablet. If the issue persists, please contact the customer care center for the third party application. If the issue is unrelated to a third party universal remote control application, please call us at 1-888-935-8880 so that we can assist you with your television.

good television for the price

But last week the volume started acting up. I am just watching a program and then the volume will bump up to 50. It seems to jump on an hourly basis. I've researched the internet and found that others are having this same problem. But we can not figure out what settings need to be adjusted to get it fixed.

Hard to complain for the price, but...

It has frozen before - the software isn't perfect, but it only happened once. It's also missing Hulu, so I couldn't completely transition from a multiple-hardware solution for my media. Also, the screen cover doesn't seem to be glued on so it has some bounce if you touch the screen. Finally, dark scenes don't have great quality. I was watching Stranger Things and found it hard to make out great detail in dimly lit scenes.

It should be cheaper by now. Never had a problem with it at all and its still working like day one. UHD is really noticed when using equipment capable of taking advantage of it.
