This is my first air purifier purchase so can't really compare it to anything else, but I have noticed that I wake up without that allergy stuffiness...we've also used it to get rid of food odors after cooking, and it works great!

I used this unit as an air purifier and haven't tried the humidifier function yet. It runs very quietly and does purify the air. The operation of the unit is pretty straightforward as well. Good buy!

Lived up to that rating and expectation in terms of functioning at a quality rate for both the AirPurifier setting and the Humidifier with AirPurfier.

I wanted something that would purify my air and also humidify at the same time. I really like this Sharp brand. It was on sale and other customers gave it good ratings so I decided to purchase it.

So far quite satisfied. Seems to be good at both tasks but only had for a short time. No complaints.

It works well and the air does smell better. The only issue I have is that the filter did not last me more than a month. At nearly $100 for a replacement filter, this thing can get expensive.

This is a great air purifier / humidifier. I purchased it for my wife due to her asthma. Cleans the air well. Nice size. Not too big & not too small to do the job.

I bought this after finding out I had several indoor allergies. I researched for sometime before deciding on this model. The first couple of days I really didn't notice it was doing much, then I decided to rearrange my room and unplugged it for awhile. Few hours passed I went back to the room and you could definitely tell it had been off. I was astounded at the difference it made. I turned it back on and hit the quick clean button and my air was once again fresh! I would 100% buy this again.

I invested in this very expensive product because I thought that it would effectively purify and humidity my home. It is IMPOSSIBLE to clean - literally, when mold collects in the water container (not to mention all the crevices of this poorly designed humidifier) which it will because there is stagnant water, the opening is too small to clean the container and there are too many angles that you cannot properly clean it. You are therefore given the option of continuing to use the humidifier with mold, or throw out your $400 investment after using it a period. Sharp will only stand behind it for 1 year, so once the mold collects after 1 year, you can no longer use the machine. The many other trays, wheels, vents, and filters all also collect mold and rust. It is just so poorly designed, almost as if the point was to trap mold. I spent hours and hours trying to clean the machine to make it usable, with vinegar, baking soda, salt, physical scrubbing, you-tube videos of cleanings, vacuums, and was still not able to clean it to a sufficient, reasonable, degree that you would feel comfortable breathing in the air that comes out of it. I have since spent maybe 10 hours on the phone with Sharp but getting the run-around, so the only recourse I can do after spending $400 on this Sharp product that I need to send to the garbage, is save other purchasers from making the same mistake. I'd have so many more pictures, but I didnt give up and take pictures of how impossible it was to clean until I'd already spent hours taking the machine down to studs to try to clean hard to reach places.

I have been doing a lot of research on air humidifier and air purifier and this particular model had really good ratings all over the internet. This has stopped me from dryness and dust from my room. Highly recommended!

What a great machine makes air in bedroom feel so clean and humidifier works great!

This Sharp Purifier is very quiet and it runs very quiet. It is a well-designed machine and has more features than the competitor.

I am so satisfied with my first air purifier. The reason I purchased this is for my son. He has in trouble to breathe in the night and his room smells all the time(he exercise a lot in his room, not in the gym). After I put this in his room, I can breathe better when I walk in his room(ha ha ha!) I am so happy to have this except the cost of filters to purchse in a few months, but I think it worth.

I am very happy with the purifier. It's very quiet and works well. Plan on getting another one for other rooms

My wife suffers from chronic lung problems. During the winter the dry heat from the baseboard heaters creates havoc with her. We just purchased this unit on the recommendation of our doctor that we get a dehumidifier and air purifier. It was a very good investment, even I sleep better.

I purchased this unit to both clean and dump some humidity into the cold winter air of my bedroom. It is super quiet and put into auto and it kept the humidity level at around 45% easily. The unit looks a bit bulky but it is super light. Getting the water tank in and out is also dummy proof.

It is a litttle pricey but this clears the air from bad smells very quickly and fairly quietly

We got this item to deal with both dust/air purification and to help with dry winter air and it is fantastic.

I love this air purifier. I read a lot of reviews and decided to get this one.. Wasn't aware that replacement filters are $100

Purchased to replace former humidifiers that last the typical 1-3 years. These work great and we love the displays and how the air filters are easy to clean. The only recommendation I have is to have a larger reservoir for the humidifier.
