I bought this Sharp white microwave to replace a microwave that was showing inside wear. I ordered white so it would not make my countertop look overwhelmed. It does an excellent job with features that were more than I had before and are perfect for a countertop microwave. I don’t think the noise of this microwave is at all unusual. I am pleased with the purchase and purchase experience. I’ve had it a short period of time, however, at this point I would purchase this item again.

The Sharp - Carousel 1.1 Cu. Ft. Mid-Size Microwave in white, is a good, but not great value and has plenty of features that make the use of it very easy. The add 30-second button allows additional, 30 sec., increments to be added WHILE the microwave is on; which while not absolutely unusual, is not found on all microwaves in this range. The one-touch buttons are accurate to their respective categories and the turntable is not as noisy as some other competitors'. The only weak spot is that the cabinet is not as solid as older models of the same brand and flexes a bit too much in my opinion. Aside from that, it is a good performer at a good, but not great, price.

I want to first start out saying that this was sort of a gift to my grandmother because her microwave was really old and didn’t work properly. I was essentially replacing what I thought was a stronger microwave with a slightly smaller and slightly weaker one but I was definitely surprised with the new one’s efficiency. Granted that this microwave wasn’t exactly cheap, I managed to get one in the same color as her old one and has the brand I stand by like the one in my house. I bought this model because I can trust Sharp for its quality. My mother bought the one we had in our house nearly 15 years ago for a huge discount and it works well to this day to put things into perspective a bit. I must say I appreciate the express buttons where you just tap on 1-6 and you get 1-6 minutes in a few seconds. Plus there are no more accidents involving changing the clock instead of setting the operational time. Overall this is an excellent replacement microwave, it warms things evenly and quickly even on the 30sec interval option and the design is great and more modern.

The microwave works well and actually has more power than I expected. I do wish that the light would come on when the door is opened (it is on of course while cooking), but I guess you have to give up something at this price. Overall an excellent buy for the price, and since it's a Sharp I expect it to last a long time.

limited color availability at BestBuy of white microwaves lead us to purchase this unit. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality build and the ease of use. Operationally easy to deal with it is very powerful for the use that we are in need of, reheating food and fast cooking potatoes. Excellent choice for an everyday use item.

I love it. Our first time having this brand. I usually buy Kenmore product and it last longer. Since we are in need for new Microwave, we decide to give it a try. It's good quality, promising, I like when you make a selection to the numbers and walk away without pushing start button, it will automatically start and heat up your food fast. Perfect size with a small counter top kitchen.

Works great. Timer and defrost features are perfect! Nice size. Overall great value and very affordable.

I have this microwave for quite some time and still works like new, very useful, maybe a little noise like any other, I definitely recommend it to anyone!

Purchased this Nov 14, 2020 Was not happy that there wad no inside light when you open the door it was a little smaller and less powerful Than my 20 year old model - BUT It was a perfect fit for the small shelf space I had. Now, 11 1/2 months later, the door latch does not work You have to pull the door open. I'm taking it in tonight to have it repaired under my 2 year Geek Squad protection plan - a must as $100 microwaves are now apparently designed to fail in a year Depending on how well the service goes, I might increase the star rating

I’m not a fan of microwaves, but I like this one. I can cook the things I cook in a microwave with a push of one button.

You can get nice size dishes in this microwave. Cooks and defrosts great.

I really did love this microwave, but the glass turntable broke 4 weeks after I purchased this at Best Buy Pasadena CA. I called Sharp 800-237-4277 to get a free replacement since the purchase was new. They said because it arrived not broken, they didn't warranty the turntable. I cooked a bag of popcorn. When I went to get my popcorn, the glass turntable cracked in half. Now I have to purchase another turntable for $30.00. I find this product defective!!!!! I bought this June 2nd 2019, it broke June 25th 2019.

I've always liked sharp carousel microwave is never had a problem with them and this one is working just fine and I plan on it lasting me for ever

Bought this to replace a Sharp Carousel that I bought back in the 90’s while Montgomery Ward was still a business. This one doesn’t have as many features, but was way less expensive.

Overheated after 6 days and shut itself down. Smelled strongly of burning plastic! Called Bestbuy and they made me call Sharp directly. Sharp sent me a replacement. At first the door of the new one would not latch in order for key pad to work, I had to open and close it a couple dozen times to get it to work. Now key pad is working but any long cook times make outside of oven very hot. It shut itself down once when too hot. No burning wire smell yet on this one but have a call into Sharp!!!

We purchased this Sharp 1.1 CF white microwave about a month ago. We replaced an under cabinet style that was in home we recently purchased. We wanted a counter top type. It is easier for me who has a disability and I am short. We were not sure how good it would be for price. It is great. Some people do not read manuals. We do. We love the express cook. We can just pus 1 or 2 etc and it will start and cook automatically for the comparable time...like 1 minute etc. However, we can pick Time Cook and put in the time we want to cook. We can do Auto Defrost or pick just Defrost and pick our own amount of time. This fits everything we would need it for. Plus, it has features our last 2 under cabinet did not have. I wish we had purchased sooner. Not sure why so many 4 stars or less. This is an awesome micro.

Have owned two previous Sharp microwaves, each lasting for an average of nine years. The last was slightly larger than this unit and had more options for cooking but was more than we needed. This unit comfortably handles a plate of food and has numerous presets. It does a good job warming food and beverages (goodbye teapot). Melting chocolate to cover pretzels or strawberries is a breeze. The control panel feels solid as compared to other brands. It has power adjustment options and a standalone timer function. The only downside is it doesn't light up when you open the door, only when heating begins, so we have to turn a light on to set timers that aren't preset. Because you can't see inside if it's situated away from light, be careful before putting something inside it if someone, not me, left something in there. The cord is also shorter than it should be (=2ft) probably because they designed it principally as a kitchen countertop unit.
