It's a cautionary tale for journalists: there are and always will be consequences for fabricating subject matter (whether sources, or a story itself). And in an era where journalists have been ridiculed, harassed and even attacked, this film's also a constant reminder that there are still journalists who vow to do their jobs the right way as public servants.

Personally I think Hayden Christensen was perfectly cast in this film in one of his best performances.

I've been looking for this move since I first saw it in 2004. It's one of my favorites and I'm so glad to have finally found it!

One of Mrs. Garcia's favorite flicks! Based on, and doing a good job following, a true story. You may remember hearing about this one as you watch it. The main character goes through some interesting psychological stuff. He had his magazine fooled for several years and they printed his fictitious stories. Makes you wonder as you read the newspaper especially in an election year - how accurate is this stuff?

Once again, I was looking for an unpopular movie and only found it at BestBuy.com. It's a great movie and is based on a true story. You can tell that it was low budget from the quality but the actors are great and they draw you in to the story. Any aspiring journalist or fan if the industry must see this!

Shattered Glass was a movie that made you pay attention the whole time. There were twists and turns at every corner, and even some you wouldn't expect at first. It outlines so many different things within the journalism and writing profession. The movie focuses on character and decision making app throughout. The whole movie was entertaining and beneficial and is a great movie overall.
