This movie was wicked funny; the characters were real, stupid, clever, and on the mark comics. There were actually scary moments and frights so this my wife enjoyed it as much as I did even though she doesn't like scary movies.

Paying homage to the Dawn of the dead, follow a group of people lead by misguided but well meaning Shuan. They run into more, and more issues as Shuan attempts to lead them to shelter in what was thought to be an impenetrable pub called the Winchester.

I’ve only seen some of this movie in the past, but I have always heard good things and cannot wait to watch! I got the steelbook at a great price in store, and it is a matte reddish orange rustic color! Comes with digital and blu-ray!

I consider this one a classic. What I find to be so funny is the humor comes from left field. The plot is fairly standard but its the character interaction and unexpected humor in the writing that makes this so enjoyable. Simply weird and wonderful.

Old but Funny, Shawn of the Dead will be is a great funny Zombie movie. Seen it many time never owned but at less then six dollar finally time to buy, will enjoy watching multiple times!!!! Highly recommend if you have never seen it :)

Excellent movie and even greater in 4K. Love that Best Buy continues to have the physical media to purchase since I collect movies from the horror genre. Good pricing.

I was actually quite surprised I enjoyed this movie, considering I didn't enjoy the original Dawn of the Dead one little bit. I laughed at loads of bits during the film, and bits I probably shouldn't have laughed at too! I also wanted the characters to survive in this, and was disappointed if they didn't. I couldn't have given two figsticks about the characters in the original.

Certainly one of my favorite modern horror comedies. Then again it came out 16 years ago, not sure if its modern anymore. This review has made me sad, can it be 2004 again?

I love blu-rays. Shaun of the dead is an excellent movie to watch on blu-ray. Vibrant reds with every shade of brown conceivable. The picture is so sharp it brings you right into the action. Funny, funny writing. Simon Pegg is hysterical.

This is a movie I've seen before, so I expected to like it. But I really enjoyed this film even more than expected. Shaun tries to save himself,his buddy,his ex girlfriend and his parents from zombies,and he partially succeeds. It's a hoot!

Do you like Simon Pegg? Watch this film. Edgar Wright's first of the Pegg/Frost trilogy is the first of three magnificent movies. The humor, horror, and drama all come together perfectly for this film. Hope those purpose this enjoy it.

One of the greatest zombie comedies now on Blu. The picture pops like the heads of the zombies. Wonderful gut-crunching sounds! Buy this movie for the laughs.

Many zombie films throughout the years had some comedic elements to them. Shaun of the Dead is a film that helped really popularize the zom-com genre, so-to-speak. A cult classic filled with great lines, a great story, great acting and of course zombies! This steelbook release is great with both Blu-Ray and DVD as well as digital code. 9/10

This movie is an interesting twist to the zombie horror genre, choosing to dwell more on the hijinks of the characters than the zombies themselves. It's a fun movie which doesn't take itself too seriously. Not one you will watch again and again however. 3 stars for comedy, script, and production value - the 4th star was added only for it's original concepts.

If you are familiar with Simon Pegg movies, then you know what to expect. If not, then sit back and enjoy a bit of shocking comedy. This movie will make you laugh and cringe at the same time. Enjoyable from stat to finish!

Simon Pegg is a slacker turned zombie slayer in this flick. I bought this copy to replace one that grew legs. If you liked "Hot Fuzz" you'll love "Shaun of the Dead".

Hilarious, and exciting, killing zombies, what more could u ask for in a zombie movie. Definitely a classic. About 2 friends trying to make more their lives and prove they're not losers with no ambition. A fave for sure!

Edgar Wright's flawless zombie comedy featuring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost is a timeless movie. There is no way on earth that anyone can give this movie a bad review. It's influential, unique, and gut-busting hilarious.

One of the greatest movies in my opinion, very funny and keeps the action and comedy going throughout without getting old. Simon Pegg is a genius! And the steelbook for this price is an absolute steal!

enjoy zombie movies? enjoy sarcasm and british humour? then this is right up your alley. Shaun of Dead is covers all the bases in being a friendship film, an apocalyptic film, and then just plain silly at times. i hope you like as much as i do.
