    At first I bought it thinking it would be something similar to Wallace and Grommit which my nieces love so much. But Shaun the sheep turned out to be disappointing because there's any verbal conversation/interaction. It's not very stimulating or educational for the kids.

    These stories are gentle, amusing and engaging for very young children. The plots, settings and characters are complex yet understandable for even very young children. Unfortunately the trailers for other films shown at the beginning of the DVD can be upsetting for a young toddler. If customers are paying for these DVDs why are we being forced to see advertisements for other films every time we watch our paid for DVD?

    My 2yr old adores Wallace and Gromit and these four dvds do not disappoint. Such a great value and fantastic extras. If you don't know Wallace and Gromit yet the smart money says that you will soon.

    This claymation is not for everyone. If you enjoy cartoons, then this is worth the time to watch and giggle at the different types of characters.

    Now My shaun the Sheep collection is complete. Bought Season 2 A few months ago & the Season one I just received is just as funny. A must have buy for good clean entertainment.

    Always loved Wallace and Gromit as a kid, and it's great to have the complete series at home on DVD. Highly recommended for those who love corny humor.

    Best Buy was offering a free Blu-ray disc to go with the LG BD-370 player. As is typically the case with such offers, the "free" movies were all of dubious quality, and Wallace and Gromit was the only one I was interested in. If you're a Wallace and Gromit fan as I am, then it's okay receiving this for free, but I wouldn't pay for a Blu-ray version of this, because it is a waste of Blu-ray. The picture is formatted for OLD TVs (4:3 format) the picture quality isn't so good, and there are no "extras", so if you watch it on Blu-ray on an HDTV you'll be disappointed. Just buy the same movie in DVD format, there won't be any difference.
