do not buy this game, theres no point wasting 60$ on a game that gets boring after 5 minutes.Theres nothing to do in this game. all u do is go down a mountain.plus theres only like 4 mountains in the game.did i mention its unrealistic..

I honestly really like this game. The mountains are intense and fun, the graphics are really good, the challenges are realistic(for the most part), and overall its just a really fun game, definitely worth the money. My only complaints are the little details. For example when riding next to other riders(the computer) the look really fake. Often it looks like they are bobbing up and down which takes away some of that sense of realness to the game. My other complaint is that there are only 4 places to snowboard. Now, each is extremely big, the area in which you can go is almost limitless on each but I think they should of at least added 1 or 2 more.Id give this game a 8.5 out of 10.

this is a realy fun and realistic snowboarding game. it takes about an hours to get use to the controls, but when you get them down it gets realy fun! it's kinda like a mix of tony haks and skate. you can jump like 5 feet from a rail and just float over to it, so that realy cheesy, and the soundtrack is very pop! other than that the mountains are very big, and you can just ride powder, half pipe, race, or ramps and rails.

Not Worth the Hype

I snowboard here and there, and am a big fan of it. I was excited years ago when I heard about this game coming out... but it just didn't live up to the hype.
First of all, you are just put around in some random mountain, stuck collecting coins. The tricks and combos are very difficult, as there is a very steep learning curve. Your rare combos will just seem like merely strokes of luck.

I got this game because of the hype it had.
Super fun game. Voice overs were very legit.
More variation would have been better, but pretty good none the less

It appears Ubisoft did not fully test this game before release. The game has been patched multiple time to remove exploits, but it looks like they failed to tighten up gameplay. I was a big fan of Skate by EA, and i thought i was in for something similar, a more life like experience, not a SSX game. Its not over the top like SSX, but it does get a bit unrealistic. (8 grabs in the air, 4 back flips.)
Good luck calling your tricks and meeting top scores for most cash, you will be doing the same run over and over to get the highest amount of money. And for some reason or another, you will fall off a rail for no reason, spin or flip to long, or just an unexpected crash on what you just thought was a ramp. After playing 8 plus hours, i never beat the high score. Even after using the unlimited cash exploit and buying the best boards the game has to offer. Also, boards don't seem to change the way you ride, nor does gear. There is no reward for getting jackets, boots goggles, no enhanced abilities such as Tiger Woods, again by EA. It seems like the only factor that varies is speed.
Pass on Shaun White, The problems make the game borderline unplayable. If you can get past the major glitches, the fury of not being able to restart your current task will drive you back to best buy to return this game.
But the mountain backgrounds looks awesome when your at the summit.

this was a good game but the missions were really repetative. "go find these tokens and you get better at snowboardingsome how?" it didnt really make sense, and after you collected the tokens, you got better at snowboarding and then it just became a little rediculous.. you could litteraly use your speed and then use the super jump and jump down a quarter of the mountin.. thats no fun its not realistic.
the moves were pretty cool, and grinding rails was fun, but after a bit it just seemed like "skate" but snowboarding

Shaun White Snowboarding is a must have for any snowboarder or skier. You have so many possibilities. You can also play on xbox live, and compete against other people, and even bet money that you win on the game. With the money, you can buy new jackets, boards, hats/helmets, and many more. Also there are many great graphics, such as tons of mountains in the background. The only thing that I dont like about it, is that there are only 4 or 5 worlds, but still, the worlds are huge.

This is by far the greatest snowboarding game. It is pretty realistic, it makes you really work (like in real life) to pull tricks together. The mountains look great and the graphics are awesome.
