Absolute garbage bought one that had a huge dent on the back and another that was in two pieces when the shrink wrap came off. For $35 should be packaged a little more secure

Again, dear Best Buy, I wish you allowed 1/2 star increments, because the true rating here probably falls at 4 1/2 stars, IMHO. Shazam: Fury of the Gods pulled a similar surprise as the first, but whereas the first became a huge surprise after little expectations, SFG was expected to raise the bar even higher and fell flat... and that's truly shocking. Whether it was word of mouth that fans (myself & my family, incl my 9y/o son,) didn't enjoy it, or... and a sneaking suspicion this played a larger role, that SFG was a moot point, regardless of whether it sank or swam... heck, even if it was Michael Phelps... with the Big Red Cheese having no apparent plans in new DC Films' Head, James Gunn's future for a new DCEU, SFG came out with the short end of the stick at the box office. But, despite what some fans may claim, it didn't in what it provided. The humor, the action, the story all showed the same effort & was one heck of a follow up, with a final third of the film employing as much as they possibly could from creatures straight from Greek mythology, as well as a dragon and others. What we seem to be getting from superhero films as of late, in my opinion, isn't worse product, as fans voice disappointment after disappointment... it's simply fatigue. Unless a superhero film offers something *TRULY* remarkable, the tried & true formula after 30 films has gone stale for them. The last superhero film that got rave reviews from everyone had the dazzle by bringing all the actors that have played Spider-Man over 2 decades together on the big screen. If you're here for the power trip fantasy that superhero films offer & can stand back to realize they're just that- 2hrs of spectacle that have roughly 2-3 variations on a theme outside of the big teamups to save the world (itself its own variation on a theme) because one hero can't do it alone, you'll be fine. If you're expecting the wheel to be reinvented continuously with these movies, or haven't stood back & recognized it yet, that little voice in the back of your head is going to, with each successive movie, tell you, "it's not as good as Tony Stark announcing 'I AM Iron Man!'" Or seeing the Avengers all together onscreen at once after a decade of teasing, nor top seeing the first Spider-Man, one of the originators (along with the XMen, 20yrs ago,) or his follow-up in the mask, walk onscreen into the universe where Tom Holland currently holds the title. SFG is more of the same... more of the same action, same message of family, and the same fun, goofy humor delivered expertly by Zachary Levi reliving being a barely-there teen. It's fine, it's fun, and it's a shame it appears to have hit its end.

Who knows why audiences sat on their hands for FURY OF THE GODS, but they're missing out: SHAZAM goes Wrath of the Titans and it's a blast! If the first film was about finding your real family, the second is about fears of growing apart from them and trying to hold on to things either already gone or just not going to last. The wholesome (and sometimes not so wholesome) chemistry between the child and adult Shazamily cast is back and as strong as before, with some surprising bonus entertainment between Jack Dylan Grazer and Djimon Hounsou. And hey, did you groan at the first movie's headless cameo and Levi's Shazam being kind of a dummy even with "The Wisdom of Solomon"? Rejoice, because this film pokes some good-natured at that and more. Ya done good, Sandberg. And Darla, you're not just a good sister, you may be the BEST sister!

I do not understand critics. I feel like they have their own agenda for things. But this was a good move. Somewhere we have lost what movies are supposed to do. They are supposed make you feel something amd take you on a ride. This one definitely did. Could it have been better, of course. But for us comic nerds it hit all of the spots. It had cameos you didn't see coming. Little things that if you didnt know the source material you wouldn't have caught. Amd overall it didnt take itself seriously. The only reason i cannot give this a 5 is the obvious. You cant have Shazam without Black Adam. Thanks Dwayne.

Like many super hero stories these days, Shazam! Fury of the Gods unfortunately deals in its soul being pure and full of heart while contrasted with a murky visual style heightened by hollow visual effects. This four year-later sequel isn’t as offensive as something like Thor: Love and Thunder in the effects department, but it is depressing gauging how much more enticing and satisfying something with as much charm as a David F. Sandberg film would be if its exterior matched its interior. I really enjoy Sandberg as a filmmaker and how he infuses every element of his films with that little something extra the film doesn’t necessarily need but signals the investment, inventiveness, and respect the man has for the craft of storytelling. Fury of the Gods balances everything it wants to do and all of its many, many characters impressively (that Chris Morgan really knows how to work an ensemble) with the trio of female antagonists being especially emblematic of a threat and arc that made their marks in children’s movies of the 90s - where bad guys made the stakes feel real even if there was zero doubt of where we’d end up. Many will undoubtedly argue the villains are a weak point of the film, but everything in this movie is an archetype and the Daughters of Atlas (and Zegler especially) is one that builds on as much in a successful fashion. Jack Dylan Grazer remains a huge highlight and I can’t wait to see where his career goes while Asher Angel really draws the short end of the stick here. Things like the Lair set and Steve the pen are genuinely great and so many of the bits land that it’s difficult to imagine anyone walking out of this movie too upset, but it is quite an exhaustive third act that will either wear folks down or get them amped for the possibility of Shazam remaining in the DCEU and personally, as long as Sandberg’s at the helm, I not only wouldn’t mind Shazam sticking around, but am optimistic at the thought.

From 2007 to 2012 Zachary Levi earned his 'star' on TV as Chuck, which I personally loved. The premise of a kid who utters a magic word and becomes a man with powers similar to Superman, but not the wisdom of an adult is always reason enough to watch, but the extended family and battle scenes are great...quit overthinking things and just enjoy the spectacle.

Not as good as the first one but still not bad as suicide squad (the Jared Leto one.. horrible film) the rock straight up ruined any chance this franchise had with his stubborn attitude the fact is he's Shazams main villain and not an anti hero but big manbaby Rock has to be center stage as always should of cast someone else from the start for black Adam

Shazam: Fury of The Gods tries to capture the magic of the first movie. Not as good, but it is definitely an enjoyable movie. Don't listen to others. Watch and make your own decision. I try to collect all superhero steelbooks from Best Buy, so I'm glad i was able to add this one to my collection.

This steelbook arrived undamaged. I'm still thankful that you continue to ship inside of a box with padding. Also received a day early which is always nice. The only criticism, have the steelbook wrapped completely in bubble wrap instead of a large air-filled bag on one side. Thanks.

It's rare that a sequel is better than the original, but this is one of those ones that is! The first Shazam! was amazing and a ton of fun, and this one just kind of ramps it all up and will leave you thoroughly happy! Great steelbook makes it a must own!

It was difficult to not make comparisons to the first film, which i thought was great. This sequel leaned a little too much into trying to be too funny, and I feel like it would have been great if they went more into the family impact of the story.

The Steelbook version of every movie I have ever purchased from BestBuy is fantastic. I have a full collection of the MCU and DCEU movies. The steelbooks are sturdy, and, even more important, stylish. Shazam! Fury of the Gods is a good movie, and, in my opinion, even better than the first.

Lok this movie. I hope there's 10 more and a show. Fat Dragon was the show stealer. Fun movie from start to finish. Chris Pine as a Bard is something i didn't know I desperately needed. whole cast was chosen quite well and i hope they all return for #2

Zachary Levi is the best Superhero hands down. He's fun, immature, vulnerable, invulnerable, and just a blast to watch. Loved the first movie, had to buy the second movie, because it was so much fun. Anyone who says it was terrible is lying.
