I expected more for this movie but it was not up to par with his other westerns.

This movie must be seen if for no other reason than to see Monument Valley in its glory. I have heard that Wayne thought this was his best acting role and I would not dispute that claim. As with all John Ford movies the supporting cast was excellent. My only negative was that the special features provided was minimal.

Other than seeing it on the big screen, this is as good it's going to get. Won an Oscar for Cinematography and it shows in what has to be a remastered film although it doesn’t claim to be. A great combination of Cinematography and a very good movie to boot. Been waiting a long time to replace my copy on VHS and it was well worth the wait. Since it wasn’t a wide screen film, it is in its original 1.37:1 ratio. The Ford home movies are not about this film.

This classic western directed by John Ford and starring John Wayne is simply fantastic! They do not make movies like this anymore. There's romance, comedy, and of course action. John Agar and Shirley Temple really click as the love interest. Of course it is your basic U.S. Calvary vs Indians. Great Fun!

Great price and picture quality. A must-have for any John Ford collection

Duke Wayne in one of his best cavalry verses Indians movies. Interestingly enough, it has a peace/anti-war theme.

A great addition to my John Wayne movie collection. The price was not the greatest, but was reasonable compared with other retailers. This movie now completes the CAVALRY SET which also included Rio Grande and Fort Apache.

YOU KNOW THAT THIS STORY IS NOT HISTORICALLY CORRECT BUT IT DOES SHOW HOW SOMEONE BECOMES A HERO THAT WAS REALLY A FOOL. ENJOYED THIS VERY MUCH.

Great product John Wayne is my favorite actor and I love these old movie's.

No apologies necessary for this great western!!! I could watch this western over and over again, and have. It is truly a classic and with the background providing magnificent vistas of Monument Valley, how can you go wrong? Highly recommended!!!
