    An excellent Civil War period piece that will tuck at your heart strings. James Stewart is excellent in leading his sons and daughter on a hunt to find the youngest boy who is captured by Union soldier who mistaken him for a southern soldier.

    James Stewart never disappoints me. His performance in this movie was heartfelt and totally believable as a man dealing with the loss of his loved ones.

    Shenandoah is a great movie with a star-studded cast headed by Jimmy Stewart. I remember watching this on the Disney show when I a young boy. Great movie!
