I have waited years to continue filling the story of Shenmue. This is a very faithful continuation of the Shenmue series. Open world exploration is rewarding. There are lots of fun games and puzzles and hidden easter eggs.

This is a great follow up of the first two Shenmue games. I played the original over a decade ago so it is nostalgic to continue the adventure and see familiar characters. I eagerly look forward to the entire storyline.

A must own if you’re into open world exploring games, the franchise is known for starting the open world gaming experience so I recommend everyone to try this game out, even if you haven’t played part 1 or 2.

I loved Shenmue on the Dreamcast, I loved Shenmue 2 on the XBOX even though I got the Shenmue 2 (European version) on the Dreamcast BUT it wasn't in English dubbed so it didn't feel like the same experience I had with the first Shenmue, now Shenmue 3 is out with English dubbed, wow a dream come true!! I'm loving every moment of it, I like the fact you can call your old friends over the phone like Nozomi, Goro... You can talk to nearly everyone in the game with their own voices. You can be a Herbalism and a Fisher now which reminds me of WoW... I'm determine on beating this game like I did for the prior games. Yu Suzuki wants to do Shenmue IV, I hope that happens!!

Great story , gameplay and it's continuation from shenmue 1 and 2 ... The level looks awesome, it's not perfect but hey it's a step above what we have seen from the previous two games

Shenmue 3 is everything I was expecting from a Shenmue game. Lots of mini games and side quests in an amazing detailed world. The strongest point though is it's main story that has a lot of depth. It has some flaws, though are not distracting but what game hasn't? The sounds and music is perfect with an extraordinary soundtrack! I'm playing it in 4k and it is absolutely wonderful. You'll be satisfied more if you don't rush to complete the game and take your time.

Bought this because of the steel book. The game will remind you of the others in the series. The box art is nothing crazy but the steel book looks beautiful.

Shenmue III - PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 is very exciting game centered in 1980s Japan and China with lots of various replay ability based on player choices.

A great story about revenge. It like you are guiding a individual through life. It's filled with adventure and martial arts action

The original Shenmue released back on Dreamcast and it's sequel saw limited DC release with a full English release on the first Xbox. Decades later, it's back but without many of the SEGA branded quirks and limited polish. If you've never played a Shenmue game before, Sega has released the first two games as a collection and is a much better starting off point and a better value

Shenmue is one of the best games when its come to the story and shenmue 3 continues that if you like story and marichal art then you will love it

First of all, this game is a love letter to Shenmue fans that have been waiting for almost two decades, however those people have already purchased the game so my quick review won’t be focused on them. I know this game has gotten interest from people that may not have played or known about this series until recently. I strongly advise those people to play Shenmue I & II first before jumping into this game, that collection is available on PS4, Xbox and PC for a very affordable price, also included in Xbox Game Pass. Shenmue is a game that’s fairly hard to describe how unique and groundbreaking it was unless you were there to experience it back twenty years ago, when the gaming industry was smaller and still growing into the giant it is today. Just play those and experience it for yourself. Shenmue is one of my favorite games because of how charming and immersive the world is, however I understand completely if some people don’t like this type of game. However, if you enjoy those first two games (which is great!), then I would suggest playing Shenmue III.

The game is fun, the voices are in English, but it has a dumb health gimmick where even when you are simply walking you are losing health at a quick pace, other than that the game is fun, unfortunately it takes the Playstation system a long time to install the game on the system, I had to wait over 1 hour for it to get installed.

Shenmue! I’m so happy that this 3rd installment was made. All Shenmue fans definitely need this.

I will say that Shenmue is probably one of my favorite IPs ever. I have been waiting for this game for over 15 years. I will say while I loved the game somethings were lacking. It's slightly toned down from the previous games. Then again it was a Kickstarter project. I liked it, but there was room for some improvement

If you are a fan of the first two you will definitely want to own this one. Great story fun game play.

This is a nice continuation to the shenmue story. The original on the Dreamcast was one of my favorite games of all time. Part 2 left me wanting more. This kinda did the same, but I'm still glad I played it. If you know what shenmue is(and a fan of the series) you won't be disappointed.

Hey I'm a big fan of the original Shenmue, I played it when it came out and it blew my mind, I honestly thought we would never get a sequel, but I honestly think this game is for Shenmue fans, if you never played one you can on PS4 also, since they were re-released, then play this, it's probably not going to have the same effect of back then in 2000 but its a fun game, that I'm grateful we still got.

The child that received the game as a gift loved the game play, story and graphics.
