pure nostalgia. Found this game on clearance and after playing the earlier sequels on the dreamcast years ago this was pure nostalgia. Graphic look dated and game is challenging but if you are a fan this one is for you.

Simply amazing! A true sequel to the other games. Remember this game is not for everyone. Unfortunately. To fully enjoy this you must love the first two. Go pick up the hd collection of those and give it a fair chance.

Shenmue III is an excellent return to the series that we came to love on the Dreamcast. This game was long awaited and delivered! The story and graphics are amazing and highly recommend if you are a fan of the first 2 Shenmues!

The game was definitely built for fans of the original. I don’t think think many gamers today would appreciate, but I did - glad they made it!

I've waited forever for the next chapter to the Shenmue series. Worth playing but will leave you wanting more.

An excellent game and a journey into China in high-definition graphics. Shenmue 3 takes you on a ride through China in the most exciting manner. Definitely worth the money and a fulfilling experience.

I was 15 when the original came out and now finally having a third one is amazing. 4 hrs in and I love this game

For all Shenmue lovers, this game is GREAT!!! Waited two decades and they finally released a sequel! It may take some time at the beginning to level up and make money, but there is always a way to make fast money!!

I am one of the fans who have been waiting decades for this game. I played the original on the dream cast back in 2000. Finally played number 2 when it came to the ps4. I dont buy games day one, but this one I had to. Honestly, it feels like a waste of a game, the 10 to 20 hours it took to complete, nothing happened to truly progress the story. It seems like what happened at the end of number two should have directly led to what happened at the end of number 3. The whole story in-between was a complete waste of a chance to progress the story.

If you're a fan of the series get this. If not, it's similar to Yakuza. If you like that then consider getting this and the first two instalments.

Cannot express how relieved I am to finally have the 3rd installment in this legendary and niche story line. The controls are vastly different than the previous, but the previous game was on the DreamCast...so it's been awhile.

Not a bad follow up to the original Since Sega Saturn released in 1996. Compared to the past original game it’s improvement but compared to today’s system it’s a bit let down. Over all not bad.

This game is amazing! Can’t believe that after all of these years that us fans and others can finally play the long awaited sequel!

Happy for continuing this game and more sequels to come. Loved this game on Dreamcast, never got the chance to play the sequel on Playstation til now. Awesome story and new beginning to finish this game!!!

If you were already on board for Shenmu, then you'll love this. I was on the fence and haven't played that much, but what I've played, I've liked.

Played the first two on the dreamcast and enjoyed it both game. Got the reissue first two to refresh my mind and enjoyed this one as well.

You'll like this too. It's hard to recommend but if you loved 1+2 then this is a no brainier. If you didn't then this is just more of the same.

If you're a fan of the original shenmue games (1&2) then this is a must play to continue the story. If not the game provides a good summary of what's happened up to this point. Highly recommended!
