Sherlock Holmes tries to save the world by stopping Dr. Moriarty, and, more importantly, prevent Dr. Watson from getting married. He follows a trial of clues. As a Sherlock Holmes movie, it's not smart enough. As an action-adventure movie, it's enjoyable, more so than the first in my opinion.

I've always been a fan of Guy Ritchie films and this one is another great. Classic Sherlock Holmes antics, well thought out plot and great filming. If you're not used to this type of cinematography you may be caught off guard at first. Jude Law and RD Jr play their roles excellently, again, in this follow up.

I originally started with this series as a big fan of the books. Normally, I find it difficult to be a big fan of the film when it diverges from the original manuscript. These films are so entertaining and engaging that I really didn't care. This film was a great ending to the series.

I loved a good mystery growing up. I would watch the old Sherlock Holmes movies and Alfred Hitchcock movies. I also loved reading these kinds of stories. Robert Downey Jr. bought a special charisma to the character. He really draws me in. Can't wait for the next one!

We learn who Dr. Moriarty is and what an evil genius he is. The plot twists a few times to keep your attention. There is an unbelievable chase seen that includes some impressive gun and cannon fire effects. And Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law have great action and comedic chemistry.

If you enjoyed the first, you'll find this just as enjoyable. Building off the predecessor, you'll find many of the same cinematography scenes you enjoyed from the first, such as Sherlock's analytically produced fight scene. No doubt you'll enjoy it each time you watch it.

Great movie. Action packed. This movie Sherlock homes filmed in a complete differant dimension. That's mske the movie even more interesting. Only thing which I dong like that Sherlock homes are too much physical in this movie and which is unlike of Homes character.

Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law put in another great performance. As does Jared Harris as Moriarty and Stephen Fry as Mycroft. Sad that Rachel McAdams doesn't stick around long.... Another fun addition to the series, if not a bit unbelievable. Overall fun and enjoyable, especially if you liked the first.

I have been a Sherlock Holmes fan since boyhood, having read the novels and watched endless hours of Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce, and this is an outstanding entry into the World of Sherlock. Robert Downey Jr. is a PERFECT fit for the role.

I love this film. I like the actors and the plot was fantastic IMO. I enjoyed this more than the first film. A lot of action and very good suspense. Anyone who is a fan and didn't see this I highly recommend it. This really makes me hope for a third installment.

I really liked this movie. Robert Downey, Jr. has a quirky sense of humor throughout the whole film. Full of action and mystery that will make you watch til the end.

I love sherlock holmes. Whether its on page or on screen, Doyle created a fantastic character that repulses, intrigues, and endears us all. DVD plays fine, does what its supposed to do.

Very nice follow up to the 2009 Movie. Great Actors and great action. Love it when the second and third movies are as good or even better than the first.

Very good film, with a good story line. Love the action. Have always enjoyed Sherlock Holmes films. RDJ is no Basil Rathbone, but he is passable. Really like the steel case, wish they would do more of these in the US. Europe & Asia seem to get many more steel case options than we do.

Excellent take on Sherlock Holmes. Cast and crew make this film a classic - fresh, new take on one of the most "done" characters ever. Full of action, wit, comedy...all while staying true to the original characters.

How can one go wrong with these two actors portrayal of the famous sleuth and his ever assisting partner Dr. Holmes. Well done with plenty of action, mystery, and comic adventure. Something you can watch again with pleasure.

enjoyed the movie. full of suspense and action with some comedy thrown in there now and then. purchased both parts to the series. hope another one comes out soon. nice action movies to spend the weekend and homemade popcorn.

Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law are both great in this movie. The characters are well developed and likeable. There is a lot of action and entertainment in this movie, and it has a twisting, changing plot, with great surprises. Fun movie!

Most sequels are terrible due to the over exertion by the film crew to make it better than the first. This movie stayed sound with the first and was better due to not trying to force it to be funnier than the first.

Everyone from the 1st Richie Sherlock movie is back for The Game of Shadows. Downey Jr. host the interactive blu ray companion bonus. Very good movie adaption of Conan Doyle's book.
