Early Sherlock filled with fun
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.One of the earliest Sherlock Holmes movies, based on the William Gillette play. Barrymore makes a good Holmes, and Roland Young (in his movie debut) an endearing Watson. This is also William Powell's first film, and he's as enjoyable as ever. It may be a little slow for some people's tastes.
