This show has everything: Suspense, comedy, drama and action. The storytelling is superb and all of the characters portrayed are memorable and quotable as the acting is so outstanding. Even if you aren't a fan of the Sherlock stories, you can't go wrong with this series.

Don't let the 90 minute episodes deter you, this is a show well worth the time investment. By far one of the best character-driven stories currently airing. The cases are exciting, but the writing and character arcs are intelligently written. Definitely check it out!

Sherlock is one of the best series I've ever watched, Outstanding direction, cinematography and the background score. If you haven't watched this show yet it's definitely a must see.and don't be sad there's still at least a few more seasons ahead can't wait for season 4 , Sherlock FTW!,,

I bought all three current seasons at once, as I couldn't turn down the sale price I came across. It's a shame each season only has three or so episodes, but extras on the disc are quite enjoyable and made it totally worth the price I paid.

This is worth it for the first episode alone. The scene where John and Sherlock first meet, Sherlock's rude treatment of Molly, the introduction of Mycroft, everything about that episode is amazing. Plus you get two more movie-length episodes to watch!

Wonderful update to a classic character--so great to see these 2 actors' portrayal before the exploded as the new and up and coming actors that they are now. I saw it when it came out originally and had to buy it when it was released on blue ray.

This is not a simple TV show. This is a wonderful series of movies — and their quality is superlative. Great acting, great writing, great directing... If you love mysteries, this (and the following ones) is the Blu-ray for you.

A new modern take on the greatest detective and friend ( watson) there has ever been in literary material. Series is addictive and you can't stop after one episode. I have purchased all 3 seasons. Very entertaining.

This show is one of the best on all of TV... Each season is better than the next and the story structure and cutting style are just great. Doesn't hurt that Cumberbatch and Freeman play off one another famously.

Sherlock is a modern adaptation of the timeless classic by the same name. This is one of the best shows on TV right now. If you have not watch this show you are missing out on some great television.

The "first series" of "Sherlock" does an excellent job of establishing the characters and defining the relationshipsame that will develop over the next 3 "series." It's all there, from the start.

Great re-imagining of the Sherlock stories. Characters are superb. The dialog can get very amusing. I liked the recent movies very much, but I end up loving this particular Sherlock series even more.

A great re-introduction to the classic Sherlock Holmes character, but with a modern twist. You will need to watch each episode more than once to catch all the details. Soundtrack is fabulous, too.

I love it! The acting and writing is top notch. I think Benedict Cumberbatch is the perfect Holmes for this present day version of the character. Dr. Watson (Martin Freeman) is no slouch either.

Very well-done Sherlock Holmes stories with a modern slant (if you just can't imagine Holmes using a cell phone, this might not be for you). I loved it and the whole family enjoyed it, too.

The best part of this series is simply what will Sherlock say next. Enjoy the interaction between Sherlock and Watson. Great series to spend a cold, snowy Saturday afternoon watching.

The art direction, music, and use of modern day setting make this a great show. Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman along with Mark Gatiss make this show a real joy to watch.

This is an excellent take on the Sherlock Holmes story in a modern setting. The characters are fun to watch and true to their origins. The setup for the stories is well thought out.

This is a great show. It's the best Sherlock Holmes series in my opinion. The actors are perfect for the roles. The only down side is that each season only has three episodes.

By far my favorite portrayal of Sherlock Holmes. Great cast, characters and storylines. I just wish each season had more episodes. I highly highly reccommend this show.
