This game is fun. Practice makes perfect, so don't expect to go out and win the first race. My son loves racing games and has a lot of them, but he finds this one challenging.

I love this game. It keeps me occupied for hours at a time. Graphics are outstanding & the game is challenging. I would buy this game if you like racing games.

Worst. Physics. Ever. Not arcadey enough to be fun not real enough to be fun. It feels like there is a fish tank on the top of my car.

Shift 2 is definately a better, more complete packaged racing game than it's predecesor. The cars and the tracks look great. The effects are wicked when you crash! Plenty of cars to choose from with numerous cars to unlock as you progress through the game's various ranks. Not as much emphasis on drifting [thankfully] and the game feels more like a simluation then in the first game. Customizing the car is good but the car doesn't seem to change much when you create a custom setup. Also, the steering feels sluggish and unforgiving at times. I've been paying racing sims for years and this one just doesn't seem to feel too good, even after tweaking the sensitivity. However, if you use the steering help, this seems to aid in keeping the car from over-steering. But this is a small point anyways. If you like a fast paced semi-arcade, semi-sim racing game, than this game will give you a good time. Just wait to hit over 150 mph and see the nasty motion blur!

I'm very much into racing games and when I bought Shift 2 I was hesitant at first but told myself, what the hell, go out and get it and I do have to say that I very much love this game. The game play is fun and one thing I really like is how EA has put live video of the drivers in the game play....

I am a race-a-holic with over 8100 wins on Grid and have never cared for EA race games but Unleashed has brought a new feel and play experience to the game, it will give all other games a serious challenge for the number one spot trust me, I've raced online over seven years and know race games like the back of my hand

better than gran turismo and forza. game offers a lot of customization as well as a good handful of performance upgrades. Everything from changing the cams in your car to make the bore in your car larger. great graphics also, helmet cam is very different and makes added fun compared to the first game, and so does the variety of races this time around. 8/10
