i never played this game but i can't lie it is a ton of fun and i recommend merciful difficulty.

Quality title, recommended for those interested in SMT proper. Not for everyone due to harsh RNG stakes and somewhat annoying combat, but pretty satisfying regardless.

For a remaster it is true to the original feel and updated to make it feel current

Great port for anyone who has not played the original. Although I will say that retail price for this game is a bit expensive. Much better to buy it on sale.

Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster is fun.

SMT III Remaster proves that it’s worth remembering fondly, with its dark atmosphere and complex world making for an unforgettable experience. The combat is very JRPG and Turn-Based and the game is incredibly difficult but if you’ve ever played a certain other monster collecting series and desire a more adult and challenging game, SMT awaits.

One day shipping is awesome! The game came packaged nicely with no defects. Regarding the game-play, it is my first time playing Shin Megami Tensei, and I got to say that it is way harder compared to the Persona Series. So far, I am enjoying it and I hope to play more of the mainline games moving forward! I definitely recommend this game.

Classic Remastered! Amazing Hardcore JRPG Great Story!

If you were expecting something similar in quality to P5, this ain't your game. It's tedious, grindy, and pretty cryptic on where to go or what to do. It had a lot of potential to be game of the year if only they did more improvements to the UI and stuff. Wait for a sale for sure.

The game itself is excellent. A niche masterpiece when it first came out in the early 2000s. This version was supposed to remaster the visuals and for some reason the in game cutscenes aren’t. They are in the aspect ratio for the olden days of PS2. Perhaps Altus has grown too big for its own good now. So excellent game, just not fully remastered. Would still buy it again though.

It’s great to see this game being given new life on more modern consoles.
