There’s a demo on the eshop, which will probably help even more to know if this is a game you’ll like. It’s a solid RPG that feels similar to the Tales of series in its anime style and themes. The battle system is fun, and the characters interact well together.

Take Sega forever to bring Shining Game to the US. My fave sega Game is Yakuza Series and Shining Force. This game is BLOW me away. I end up purchase X1, PS4 and Switch version. Gotta get them all. Good game

I've had my eye on this JRPG since it was released on the Switch earlier this year. It was on sale on Black Friday so I decided to pick it up. It exceded my expectations, would recommend to any JRPG fan.

If you like JRPGs, this is a must have game to add to your collection! Great character designs, well made world, and pretty good story.

I am a big fan of JRPG's and this one is another to add to my Switch collection. This game has solid gameplay and I have no complaints about how the game performs on handheld mode or on a tv.

This game was pretty good but compared to some of the other jrp's available on the switch, I would recommend to get it on a dicount. Still very fun to play on the go

I like the Draconic Launch edition. The steelbook looks really nice. The game is a ported PS3 game and it shows. I do not mind and it's great if you like classic RPG's.

This game is definitely not raising the bar but for me it hit the spot for JRPG. Looks good, plays good, story is full of the usual tropes but I don’t mind.

The game reminds me a lot of PS2 era RPGs. I didn't like the controls for the regular Switch controller, it worked better with the separate controller you can buy.

Shining Resonance Refrain is a solid addition to any JRPG fan's lineup, but honestly, I'd recommend it to hardcore JRPG fans looking for something new.

Been 10 years since the US last got a Shining game, and this one isn't likely to do the series much justice to get further games localized. It doesn't really hit any high notes for all of its focus on music. I'll play all the way through, but it won't stand out against other releases on the Switch. If you've already consumed all the other JRPGs currently available and are a fan of them, this one is a good pickup. However, for the casual player this may be worth a pass.

This is a port from the PS3 to the Switch and other platforms, game originally came out well over four years ago. Game is great as I remember

It was not what I expected going in. Game play is fair. The start was a bit slow, but a more more interesting the deeper the story goes.

After playing it for 20 hours it's been a great game. It's combat is fun and rewarding. Overall have been enjoying the game

If you enjoy action rpgs then this game is for you. Just be aware that this game may seem a little aged as it was originally a PS3 game.

This would make a great addition to any Switch library. Its very enjoyable, the graphics are very good, and it is fun to play

Very entertaining and will pass the hours by. Fighting mechanics were slightly different but fun nonetheless

This is an action RPG by Sega. It has interesting characters and a great story. A must try if you like action RPGs.
