These bone conduction. Headphones are amazing. Not only is the sound great, but I can still hear what around me. Great for drivers so you can hear on the road. The best part my ear are not obstructed. For me the constant covering of my ears including using inner ear buds causes ear infections and colds. This way I can enjoy my music, talk on the phone while being connected to my surroundings without affecting my ears. An absolute great buy. Te open swim version has a onboard memory so you can play your music without your phone. Connects to two devices. Can't go wrong Highly recommend.

I have had the opportunity to use these headphones while taking a quick swim and even in the shower. The open ear concept- bone conduction concept tech is something very foreign to me so i was very skeptical.
DESIGN
The actual design of the headphones and semi-flexible neck band is very comfortable. The actual bone conduction speaker sits on the outside of your ear-for guys right by the side-burn. It is very lightweight and sits securely around your ear to keep it from moving around while swimming or even running. I have used it to run because i like the open ear concept as i believe you should be listening to all the sounds around you for your safety. The controls are placed in very easy to get to places even for someone with fat fingers like me.
SOUND
The sound is a bit different if you are used to listening to earbuds or noise cancelling headphones. The sound is a bit more of an echo-ish feel while running because of the open ear concept and bone conduction technology. It does sound loud enough while listening to music or pod cast while not sacrificing the surrounding sounds.
SWIMMING
The bone conduction technology really is something else, while swimming and plugging your ear canal with ear plugs you can "hear" the sound even though it is resonating via the vibrations, it does not sound at all like typical earbuds but it is playing underwater. It does do a great job allowing you listen to your music or podcast while under the water. The biggest hassle is downloading mp3 format music or podcasts to the 32mb memory. I have music already in that format from my old days of buying music. I wouldn't even know where to download mp3 nowadays. It is something to be aware of, MP3 for swimming and bluetooth for running.
POWER
The power cable is easy to connect and charge and the battery lasts as long as i need to swim, about an hour or so, i don't spend more time than that in the water. I haven't had them die out on me when i need them.
The biggest takeaway is the sound is very good and it is very hard for me to criticize it when i keep reminding myself they work while swimming. I definitely recommend these for those that want to enjoy sound while swimming or while running. I enjoy them more for running to be honest.

I’m really impressed with these headphones! The sound quality is crystal clear, with deep bass and well-balanced highs. They’re incredibly comfortable, even for long listening sessions, and the noise cancellation works exceptionally well. The battery life is also outstanding, lasting much longer than expected. Overall, a fantastic product that I’d highly recommend!

The Shokz were all I was expecting from them. I knew what not to expect, based on many reviews, but everything I needed worked great. Good sound quality, MP3 capability with a good interface, nice fit (I have a small face), and friendly controls. I had other brands before and to have controls easy to access when you are at the pool, in the middle of your workout, is a priority. I will totally recommend.

Over that these can be both an MP3 player and a Bluetooth device. Sound quality is good, though paired with my TV on Bluetooth, the volume is a little low. As others have said, if you put in the optional earplugs, the sound is muddy. They stay on pretty well for walking, biking, and swimming

So far so great. I love this thing and I’m wearing it all the time probably looking like a dork. I’ve used it in the pool and the sound was really good underwater. I wear them at the gym and running as well. Mostly listening to podcasts and audiobooks, the audio is great. Music is probably better with traditional earbuds but I still prefer these because I can hear my surroundings well. Battery life is pretty good as far as I can tell. Really the only difficulty is loading mp3s from my pc for listening while swimming. It’s a little difficult because I don’t use iTunes anymore but I have to go back to it for this. Not a big deal though

I love how these headphones fit. But I especially love how they have excellent sound quality without blocking out all other sound. I am buying these for people for Christmas!

I purchased this for working out and walking until it gets warmer outside when I will use it for swimming.
So far it has been pretty awesome. It fits very well and I sometimes forget I'm wearing it. I can still hear my surroundings very well and it works as a reasonable substitute for my work microphone if I have to answer a call when I'm away from my desk.
My primary use for this was intended to be working out (lifting weights, walking, running) and it has been great for that purpose. Sound is clear, and it isn't distracting or bothersome in any way.
The only issue I have identified so far is switching between devices. If I have to switch devices, I need to turn the Shokz off completely and then hold the power button through startup until it goes into pairing mode. Then I am able to select it as a device from any machine that it has been previously paired to (without searching for it again). Otherwise, I haven't been able to get it to switch the device it is attempting to connect to.
Overall I would give this 4.5 stars if I could be that precise.

Excellent choice for long swims, be mindful of using ear plugs for the best experience, but even without these they still sound good. They do not drag on the water and stay on pretty securely.

If you work outside or anywhere that requires hearing protection these are the headphones you've always wanted. Waterproof and fairly sturdy. They fit under a hardhat. You can wear them with earplugs in. The battery will get you through a work day without any trouble. This one can be submerged in water too so if they get dropped in a puddle it's no problem. They're also great for hanging out at the lake/pool but for me, I can't look up without them falling off so actual swimming is out. Also, the sound quality is not exceptional. Its good and loud but not audiophile quality. It sounds just a little bit muffled. The good far outweighs the bad though. Definitely recommend if you find yourself wanting to listen but there's a chance you could get submerged and/or need to wear hearing protection. Be aware these come with a proprietary charging cable. It's really nice but if anything happens to it you're stuck until you find a new one.

Little tricky to get MP3s loaded onto the headphones but once you do these are amazing, especially for running and swimming when you don't have your phone on you. I had the open run mini before these and these to get a bit louder as well. Fit and comfort have always been great with these and the bone conduction is a must for runners and cyclists so that you can be aware of your environment. Wore these in the pool and OMG it was so cool to have music while swimming!

I returned my glorious earbuds for these in order to have a swimming option. I was going to buy the next earbud when it came out but so far these Swimz work fantastic for land use too.
Pros:
1. Bone conduction so I don’t have to feel them pushed in my ear.
2. They easily interface with TVs, speakers, phone, watch etc.
3. Sound quality is nic with programmable buttons
4. I can listen to music under the water
5. I have options to listen to playlist downloaded to Shokz. App is easy to use. Instructions are in app as well as comes in booklet
6. Great battery life. Fast charging

I just purchased these headphones in store recently during Black Friday. Connecting to my phone was seamless. I had an older pair of Shokz but didn't use them really due to fitment. They were a little smaller than these ones so they weren't as comfortable to wear. I made the mistake in not returning the first pair. I am very happy with these and like not needing to actually insert something into my ear canal. I can wear them all day without discomfort in my ears or even on my head. The call quality is excellent even with noise around me in the dump truck I drive for work. Sound quality when listening to music is just as good for me. The battery life is excellent, they last all day without needing recharged. I do not use them for swimming, but do like the waterproof quality they have versus other ones. If you are looking for a pair of headphones that won't hurt your ears while wearing them and still be able to hear all the background noise to stay alert, then these are the ones for you.

Very happy with the product. Has solid battery life. Good sound. Easy to use. Bluetooth connection is solid, and love using it for swimming. Absolutely need MP3 to use while swimming, as bluetooth doesn't work AT ALL in water.

I have mild hearing loss in my right ear, and so wearing regular headphones is always a headache because the quality is Effy. But with this, I feel like the quality is a lot better, but it also allows me to not have the pressure inside the ear.
