Great Action Thriller of Mark Wahlberg’s collection!!

Marine Scout Sniper, Bob Lee Swagger, played by actor Mark Wahlberg, is set up by a multinational corporation to take a fall for an assassination of an African nation politician! Through sheer grit and determination, and the help of Swagger's new girlfriend and a FBI Agent who believes he is innocent, he overcomes a slew of killers, an evil multinational corporation, and treachery that goes all the way to a US Senator! Plenty of action with guns, bombs, and blowing helicopters out of the sky! I also recommend the Bob Lee Swagger series of books! Check them out!!

Great movie, Wahlberg and Michael Pena are great, Mara is very good, Danny Glover and Elias Koteas are excellent bad guys, good editing decisions by director Antoine Fuqua, this moves fast when it should and slows down nicely in several sections, you can savor these performances. Director interview is excellent, learned a lot about the final movie.

Mark Wahlberg stars as Bob Lee Swagger, an ex Marine Corps sniper who leaves the military after a mission goes bad. Later he's called back into service, and is double-crossed again. With two bullets in him and the subject of a nationwide manhunt, Swagger begins his revenge, which will take down the most powerful people in the country. Danny Glover and the lovely Kate Mara, along with Mark make for an arresting cast. The blu-ray sound is incredible. We watched it twice in a weekend, it's that good.

I'd never watching the movie, but I've been a fan of the series since it's debut. In the back of my mind I knew that I needed to watch the movie and I was thrilled when I saw it immersed in the bargain rack! After FINALLY watching the movie I can understand why they were so quick to develop it into a tv series. It's a big weird watching Wahlberg as Bob Lee, I had to keep reminding myself that in actuality Ryan Phillipe is the imposter.

I enjoyed this film, as I do most Mark Wahlberg films. SPOILER ALERT: I knew he was going to get set up from the moment he walked away from Danny Glover's character. Didn't ruin the film for me though. As with others in this Steelbook line. The inside art is nothing to write home about. The backs of these also have quotes from the films. Pretty basic design for a Steelbook. Over all I like the line though.

Haven’t seen this movie for some time so I decided to buy it, and I’m happy that I did. Forgot how much I like it. Mark Wahlberg is good Danny Glover very good, ned Beatty also very good. It shows how corrupt government officials can be, seems very real. If you like action and a lot of shoot them up you’re gonna love this one.

Mark Wahlbert palys an ex-marine sniper who lives in isolaion after ,losing his spotter because of failure of hissupport unit casued the death of his frend. he is asked to plan a mison by a courupt goverment offiicial played by Ned beatty and his partner Danny Glover. after the assination is complete mark is framed and pursued by the FBI, one agent believes he is innocent.The ongoing chase and the ending resolution makes thi a good movie.

I had to buy this movie twice because my first copy was stolen from me that's how awesome this movie is. Shooter is most definitely an edge of your seat kind of movie that gives a great twist of real life in what could very easily happen. The budget probably wasn't what it should have been and there were some predictable times but what movie doesn't deserve more money and doesn't have some times of a predictable nature.

Great action flick. Can't go wrong with Mark Wahlberg. Michael Pena adds alot as the rookie FBI agent who helps bring down the bad guys. Plot has enough twists to keep the story interesting. Definitely worth your time

Excellent movie, plenty of action. Everyone in our house really likes this movie We already had in on DVD, but the disked had gotten scratched so I replaced it with a Blu Ray disc

This movie has it all. Good acting, terrific character development, good drama. well detailed plot, and action throughout. Never a dull moment. It is a keeper for the library, and I will be watching it frequently.

This movie, is one that i think gets over looked by many Mark Wahlburg fans, but it should not because t is a great movie, lots of star power including Danny Glover and Ned Beaty. The very hot Kate Mara as the love interest and not stop action, again a very over looked movie but one that is a must own.

this was a great movie overall! yeah yeah there are some inaccuracies in this but it doesnt ruin the movie over all! simple revenge movie with some backstabbing here and there

From director extraordinaire Antoine Fuqua, (Training Day). Every time this movie is on TV me and my dad have to watch it. Well written characters and plot. Highly recommend!!!

I enjoyed it! I had gone to the store to get some movies and found it! The staff at Best Buy Simi Valley are friendly, help and will check in on you before they go home if you are still in the store!!! the movie was what I wanted but the serve was a BONUS!

Shooter is one of Mark Walhberg's Best Performances. The supporting cast of Danny Glover Michael Pena Katie Mara and Ned Beatty makes this film a must have for any film junkie.

Shooter has been one of my favorite movies since it came out. The Blu-ray adds fantastic dimension and realism to an already great movie. The cinematography is superb and the character development is extremely good, not to mention a strong cast.

I had already seen Shooter when it was on one of the pay-cable channels and thought it was a great movie. I saw it in Best Buy for $3 and couldn't pass it up. Mark Wahlberg does a good job as the hero and Danny Glover plays a great villain.
