    This video was a breath of fresh air. I have been an anime fan for 15 years. I have seen a lot of cliches in anime and stale tropes. These shorts have given me faith that the anime industry is not dead and that there is some real talent still coming to us from Japan. Highly recommended if you are a fan of anime and are tired of the same old plots.

    There are four different shorts directed by well known directors. One of the shorts was even nominated for an academy award. They all deal with Japanese culture in one way or another, but the different art styles and story telling feel new and refreshing when going from one tale to the next. Highly recommend.

    Short Peace has 4 short anime films : Combustable , Possessions, Gambo and A Farewell To Arms. It is definitely not for kids or most teenagers as it is rated MA (Mature Audiences). The animation looks amazing! If you're an anime geek like myself, and enjoyed film collections such as Memories and Neo Tokyo, you'll want Short Peace as well. :D

    These set of shorts look like artwork. They are Beautiful to look on Blu-ray even though some of the stories don’t really connect very well.
