I bought this at the same time I bough my Fire HD 8 because I don't always want to be holding a tablet in my hand. Besides using it for charging, I use the dock for view videos.

The fire tablet dock is designed great and serves the purpose of allowing the fire to run automatically in Alexa show mode. With that in mind it is expensive for what it really is. The dock is about the same price as the tablet itself, but still much cheaper than an echo show.

We decided to buy this docking station since we already have the Amazon Fire HD tablet to turn into show mode. So far we are liking it.. does not have the leaker sound as the shows do but we are still figuring it out.

This is an effective and economical way to turn your Fire HD 8 into an Echo Show. It is easy to charge and set up. I'd caution those who already have an actual echo show that the sound quality of this system is significantly inferior.

The first thing to go wrong with a tablet is the charging port especially with kids. This eliminates the daily plugging and unplugging. The charging contacts are a little small but my crew caught on quickly.

The dock makes the tablet more versatile to use with Alexa, Ring Doorbell and smart plugs in my house. Tablet always has a charge and can easily be disconnected and reconnected with no disruptions in use.

The docking station allows you to use this tablet as an Echo Show when docked and charging which is a huge plus if you are like us and stay in touch with family with Amazon Echo devices.

I highly recommend these to anyone with a fire! These do more then the trick love knowing my tablet is always charged. Not great for protection but everything else is great!!

Great charger and stand! I like how it can be added like a case to the tablet but won’t work if you already have a case on it.

Great stand. Uses case that goes on fire tablet to charge landscape mode. Have to line up 2 contacts for tablet to charge. Other than that its really nice, like it better than plugging it in.

really love the show mode charging dock!! They all should have this! Wish Amazon made the new models with this, but the did not

This dock is a great way to charge my Amazon Fire 8, while showing time, temperature, and allowing use as a stand. It is also a very sturdy stand.

Was contemplating on getting the echo show and seen these docks for the HD’s and it works fantastic even has a hard shell case for the Fires!

I was looking for just a regular case when I found this dock. It charges the tablet while keeping it at the perfect viewing angle.

Makes it so convenient! From reading in bed to telling Alexa to turn off the lights and set an alarm for the next day. Money well spent.

Upon opening the box the setup was quite straight forward. Easy to follow instructions allowed me to have completed the task in under five minutes.

Was thinking about getting an Echo Dot but now won't have to. Speakers aren't the greatest but I paired it with some Bluetooth speakers.

Looks sleek and love to dock mode I can enable. The stand is pretty good letting me view my fire hd at multiple angles

This dock is awesome! Come with a case that connects to charging port to allow charging seemlessly when docking!
