Enjoyed this one better than the first. The action scenes were great

Such a great movie and it's packed with lots of actions adventure!

This film may not be a direct sequel as it doesn't deal with the protagonist from the first film. It focuses on the antagonists from that film and puts them in a different, but equally thrilling light. If you watched the first film, you may have learned to hate the characters Matt Graver and Alejandro Gillick. This film focuses on them and offers highlights of why they do what they do. It may not have the suspense (and of course theme) from the last film but I think this film holds up as a separate story that doesn't have to have the first film's background to be able to watch it. In that sense, on its own, it should make a good film if you're looking for a little action, a little highlight on the politics that play with military covert operations, and then the character development of those from the first film. Recommended.

I purchase this movie for a friend as a gift. I got it for the action and storyline.
