Good follow up to the first Sicario. Definitely a must have if you like these type of movies.

For those who enjoyed the first Sicario because of Emily Blunt, you'll be a little disappointed. She's not in this one but it's still quite good. It deals with the immigration issue in our country and other things so there's lots there to sink your teeth into...

Not really sure why but I really like this movie. Maybe its for the actors. I just think that the guy in the movie is bad dude. And the way he comes through no matter what. Hopefully there will be another one. I own both movies.

The original is a classic. This one is fairly redundant but st the same time very well acted and shot. Some sequences are genuinely great and while the story does get nonsensical at times due to the scope of the lore expanding, it’s still a great film.

I've been wanting to watch this movie since it came out. I never got around to watching it before purchasing. I purchased this movie for about $20 and I was not disappointed. If you watched the first one this is a must watch.

When we watch the sequel, we usually expect the story continues and wonder what happened next after their first movie. But this movie just borrowed the two characters and put them in the totally different situation. I felt like that this is another movie, not a sequel of the first one. Otherwise, the action and tension was OK. If we do not know how cynical character Del Toro's character was in the first movie, it might be acceptable that he turned to be a emotional guy to save the enemy's daughter. But his character was not such a guy in the first movie. Might be better it is a totally new movie. But we are watching Sicario.

This film brings to light, the real problems with our sourthern border and lack of security in places that need it it badly. The Cartels are in the border business for money, not life. As I said, a scary good movie!!!!!

This film is def a great follow up for the first installment. I believe this film might better than the first which is hard to accomplish. But I recommend this for friend night or hubby night watch.

I like the sequel just as much as the original. Others do not think it is that good. I thought the first one had some foggy parts, like they skip why they were doing something. But over all both good films.

This movie took a twist more than once during its run time and I can say it's definitely worth the watch on disc if you watched on the big screen before or if you are now watching it for the first time.

Although I would have liked there to be more special features, the picture and audio quality on this disc are great. And for the black friday price I got it, I really can't complain much

Movie is very good, not as good as the first one, but its almost as good. The Blu-ray came with Digital copy that I redeemed on Movies Anywhere. Blu-ray and DVD look in solid condition.

Great movie and lot's of action. Isabela Moner is on her way to being a Great actress. I enjoyed this movie more than the first and hope a third is made. I highly recommend the movie.

Love Benico and Josh. Only thing it missed was the soundtrack composer from the first movie, who sadly died and could not do this movie. I loved the twists in the movie and hoping for one move follow up movie.

There has been a lot of divided opinions for Sicario 2 among Sicario fans and after seeing the film, I get it. First and foremost I really enjoyed the movie and it is a good compliment to Sicario. It is essentially 2 movie narratives in one as part way through there is a sizable tonal shift that some may not like. There are a lot of story lines and it might have tried to bite off more than it could chew trying to tie them all together, It does, but just barely. The action, acting, cinematography, soundtrack were all spot on but it did all feel like a big setup to the planned/hopeful Sicario 3 and that is where the movies main weakness lies. The first film had a solid beginning, middle and end but feels as if it was never meant to have a sequel (it was but I digress) so it stands on its own. This film hurtles toward a 3rd instalment unashamedly and as such feels unfinished, which makes the movie on the whole feel a little anticlimactic. There is a 3rd film in the works (and has been for a few yrs) and as long as that is done right this one will feel more like a bridge to completion than a cliff to nowhere. At this point it's cheap to buy or rent so I would watch it if you liked the first one, it's well done if nothing else and to me the Sicario universe is always a fun ride.

Overall its a good movie, but i think it lacked a few things the first one had. The action and suspense were kind of weak compared to the first movie, but they worked more on a storyline in my opnion.

A good fact to know when going into this “sequel” is that writer Taylor Sheridan originally wrote this film as not a sequel, but a spin-off film of Sicario called Soldado, focusing on Benecio Del Toro’s character and Josh Brolin’s character. But with the success of Sicario it was easy for producer’s to change the title and try to bank in on the Sicario title. That said, this film is one entirely of its own, and shouldn’t be directly compared to the first Sicario film, though it’s still a fine follow up film. Viewed as it’s own piece, this movie really pops off at every opportune moment. The pacing is much quicker, and the atmosphere a lot darker. Tension doesn’t necessarily take the back burner, it’s just handled differently by this director, resulting in something much meaner and violent, rather than brooding and ready explode under its own pressure. In many ways I enjoyed this film a little more, but again it’s hard to compare. Save for 2 major characters, this feels like a different a film - not a sequel, but a proper companion piece, a follow-up set in a different storyline. This feels like a film that should’ve been called Soldado, and marketed as such. Great film for fans of action/thriller flicks, this one definitely leans into darker and more violent terroritories. For fans of Sicario, expect a more expansive story that covers more that just the America/Mexico territories, involving a much more international aspect to the plot, not as claustrophobic and dense in its tension, but still a moody, atmospheric, and expansive, look into the realities of the hands that control the American fate beyond political policies, as well as it expands on 2 of Sicario’s more enigmatic characters.
