Installation was quick, and had some troubles with adjusting my graphics card so the game would play without freezing - but once adjustments were made, no more freezing/crashing. Initial game boot up time is slow. Game configurations options allow you to highly customize your world conquering experience. I've played and beat the game a couple times, different experiences each time and with an endless number of variations available I can keep playing without getting bored.

This is a great game. It is never the same. It is a great challenge to build your civilization and a lot of fun in the process.

I like the Civ series, mostly because I prefer turn-based play. Lots of games now are time-sensitive action-based games, which for some of us using laptops to play and/or with slightly slower reflexes... well, I don't fare so well in constant action games. I've always prefer strategy games anyhow, where I get a turn to think. This fits the bill, has nice graphics, so it works for me.

tis a good game but would have prefered not to have the city states.

Civilization is just a fun game to play. It is basically the same game it has always been. Simple controls and easy to learn. You know what your getting when you buy it, no surprises. Game never freezes. Great all around game.

Good for the Beginner to Expert gamer. Fun at all level. Does require a modern system with sizable space and memory. You can get away with reduced video graphics but is not the same. Must be played at high level to get the most out of it.

What can I say, it's Civilization V. I have Civilization 3 and 4 and am looking forward to finishing the Civilization V tutorial. I'm also looking forward to many hours of building my various civilizations in the game. :)

If you have played any of the previous Sid Meier's Civilization games then you will love it has better graphics,yet keeps it like the originals

Another great in the Civilization series. Guaranteed hours of fun for the megalomaniac in all of us.

Have always been a fan of the civ games, this one didn't disappoint

The game is very entertaining but it does lack in the graphics department. That being said it will take hours upon hours of your life as it is quite addictive.

This game helps you get lost. You can spend many hours and play multiple times and never repeat the same game.

I really enjoy this game. Its fun and difficult. It just eats up my time because I can't stop playing it.
