I've owned every single Civilization game. Thus is above all the best one. Hands down. My biggest concern was with the workers being replaced by builders. But I have to admit that it was a good adjustment.

The Best Strategy Game ever made

Civilization is one of the longest running series on PC. It is considered by mane including me the best strategy games ever made. The game has evolved over the last 25 years into a true masterpiece. The last game CIv V was a great game. The big draw of that game was the unstackiing of army units. That change made the combat more realistic and fun to play. Now with Civ 6 the developer has unstacked cities. Now the placement of districts, wanders and tile improvements is more strategic and requires long term planning. Civ VI is the best game in the series out of the box. Do yourself a favor and play this game.

Simply amazing game. Just finished my first game that took 22 hours with a Science Victory and I loved it. I was able to play without declaring war once which, after playing the previous versions of Civ, I was surprised I could do. The AI seems to be smarter than before and not super aggro like previous releases of Civ. I can't wait to go through another play through at a harder difficulty and go for a domination, cultural, or religious victory. Every Civ lover needs to buy this game!

My all time favorite game franchise. So I hold it to a high standard. So far, this is the best version yet. The AI is vastly improved, and the graphics are beautiful.

Yet again, Civilization impresses. You will get sucked in for hours. However, it is much more complex than previous entries and carries a steep learning curve,

    Pleasantly Surprised, Not Astonished

Let me start by saying I have been playing the Civ games since Civ 3, which I loved. This Civ game is fun and adds some cool elements to the fame, however there are lots of things that seem unnecessary and just a bit odd. To me, it seems like they mixed Civ 4, which I hated with Civ 5, which was very good. I am pleased with my purchase, however there are lots of fixes and tweaks that are most definitely needed. I would buy the game but don't be surprised if there are some things you get irritated with. You may want to buy it if it's on sale or you can get the gamer discount.

Much Better than Civ V but Steep Learning Curve

The game is great. Offers a lot of reply value (which is good considering each game can take 1+ hours to play). The game has a steep learning curve for those new to the 4x4 genre of gaming but offers a lot of new features for those who are familiar to Civ games of old. Don't let the learning curve stop newcomers from picking it up, it is a wonderful game.

Civilization 6 has corrected all the problems that players discovered in previous generations of the game. This is Civ as it was meant to be played! The 25th Anniversary Edition adds some coins and a photo book, which are nice to have, but don't affect the game in any way. It does also include some bonus things to the game, which is why I bought it.

The game is great if you like civilization games. The collectors edition leaves a bit to be desired imo. The collector coins are very cheap looking and low quality. The book is nice, but not worth the premium. I'm glad I purchased this either way, but if I had to do it over again I would have just gotten the regular edition.

New to the series. The og players seem to have a different opinion but I think the game is excellent. It's a long haul to get through a match with friends but nothing is more satisfying than building an empire to rule all the world with just law and civics...or an iron fist

At first i didnt like the interface or the cartoonish graphics in comparison to civ V, but the game is much more robust. I've been playing for days and days. The collectors edition comes with some coins that seem useless to me, but you may like them.

Civilization VI has made vast improvements in regards to functionality and strategies available. By allowing players to build districts your empire really looks unique from others in your scenario. The new mechanics for how civilizations interact has much more impact on how you play the game. Finally, the game never seems to just level out into that boring midgame phase there are challenges for your empire throughout every era. I have had a ton of enjoyment out of this game so far and highly recommend it for newcomers and veterans of the series alike.

    The Next Great Chapter...

Civilization VI is the next realization of the Sid Meyer dream. Many of the more mundane tasks have been automated, but even more complex ideology has taken place. Culture, Religion, Diplomacy and Science are still at the forefront. And now, instead of loading cities with Wonders and improvements, you now create specialized districts around the cities to enhance their growth. You need to start thinking more like a builder of a lasting civilization rather than simply city managers. Can you build your civilization to last the test of time?

Overall Civilization VI is a very fun game, with features like districts feeling fresh and adding complexity to city planning. However, does have issues like some multiplayer connection issues and DLC that feels rushed.

The game is amazing, and I love the booklet that came with it. But the coin holder is of very poor quality, mine has some cutouts in the wrong place and it looks like it was mass printed to low standards
