This is exactly what I needed. I have a very simple setup (TV, Roku Stick, Vizio Sound Bar) and had to switch between 3 remotes to watch a show. This sideclick solved that perfectly and it was extremely easy to set up. I love it!

I'd recommend this for anyone looking to consolidate their remote setup. Makes things ways easier by giving you all the essential functions for, say, your TV, soundbar, and Roku, all in one place.

There’s not too much information out there on the internet or in the Sideclick instruction manual about whether or not the Roku Sideclick fits a Roku TV remote. It fits my TCL Roku Remote like a glove! I programmed my Vizio soundbar power and volume up/down and it works perfect. It feels very comfortable in my hand and the Sideclick remote is very tight up against the side of my TCL Roku TV remote and it doesn’t slide up and down. Works great highly, recommended!

What a neat device. I wish I had known about this before! This is something roku should’ve been offering from the beginning, but their loss I suppose. Works very well, easy to program, everything needed is in the box. I only give it 4 stars because I wish it had two more buttons for left & right arrows. I liked it so much I bought one for my brother and my mother as well.

I bought this for use on an older non-smart tv. The remote clones a few basic functions from your original remote. Now I only need 1 remote to cut on my tv and access my Roku. It eliminates having to keep track of 2 seperate remotes and makes the Roku remote a little larger and easier to find. Easy to install and remove. The remote can only clone 8 remote funtions.

Works as advertised. I had a little trouble programming the volume up and down but after 10 or 15 minutes it started working. Now my 3 remotes are in one convenient place.

Love this little addition to my cord cutting TV system. Easy to program and keeps my system on one remote. My wife even loves how simple everything works! Highly recommend if you have a Roku.

Remote actually learns easily. Great addition to the roku remote, especially when viewing the local stations that are close together. Roku should include these functions on their remote,

Works perfectly. Now I can just use one remote for the TV and roku device. It does make the roku remote wider but it's not that big of a deal and besides, its so convenient making it worth it. Make sure though that the model matches the year your roku was built as there are differences. Also, the side click covers my audio out jack in the remote but no biggie

IR learning remote was able to replace all the functions I needed to ditch both my TV and Soundbar remotes, now all I use is the sideclick and my Roku remote. Super easy to setup and works well.

Fits nicely, meets 90% of our remote needs. Easy to set up. Just wish there were a few more buttons.

Awesome way to be able to turn my TV on and use the Volume buttons for Up, Down or Mute at the same time having my Roku Remote alongside. No more the need for 2 remotes.

Very good product that actually works. Can be programmed very easily to do any IR commands. Clips on very nicely to the roku. Only two things that would make this even better would be to allow one button to send multiple IR commands and to figure out a way to not have the headphone jack blocked. I just slide the sideclick down about 1/4 of the way when I need to use headphone jack.

this device works great with my roku remote. I use roku to watch TWC TV and with this add-on device, I do not need the TV remote. It is easy to set up and works great!

I was able to use this add on remote easily and replace 2 others it is so nice to be able to control the TV volume, channel, input, etc. along with my Roku remote.

This makes it so much more convenient if you have something like a sound bar connected to your TV as you can use just one remote to control the TV and sound bar.

I am better than most when it comes to installing and programming technology but After getting this and being unable to program it ...I discovered in the instructions that YOU MUST HAVE A WORKING REMOTE PAIRED TO YOUR TV FOR THIS ITEM TO WORK. This was not very clear in the sales page description which gives the buyer the impression that this will serve as a remote replacement...which is true on some level but it is only a CONVENIENCE ITEM so you can have one remote instead of two. This is very important as you will have to purchase a universal remote... program the universal remote first and then try to program this item. I did this and the Roku add on remote still could not be programmed. If like me, you want the convenience of one remote, give it a try as BEST BUY returns department is the best in the industry! Works very well, easy to setup. Its a bit shaky to handle the sidekick and Roku. They want to separate too easily. But overall satisified.

My TV is hooked to my home theatre system. The Roku device will only control the TV. Since I need to be able to turn on both the TV and the home theatre system, I needed another controller to be able to turn everything on that I need to watch TV. This Sideclick allowed me to do that. It was easy to train and works well.

I appreciated that you program the remote by pointing your existing remote at it and learning that way. Setup was quick.
