Better than mop and bucket

No off switch for steam--if you put the handle in full upright position the steam flow turns off, but then you can't push the mop, so it is easy to over-saturate one spot. Water reservoir is about one cup--have to refill often, though you can refill while it is hot. Handle is very light weight, may not have long life expectancy.

Neither worked after a year and neither produced steam as quickly as the Sienna steamer. The Sharp steamers were 3 to 4 times more costly than the Sienna. The Sharps were complicated to operate ( press this button twice for this feature, press once for that feature, when light comes on . . .). I had to re-read the instructions every time I used them. The Sienna is easy to operate. Plug in, wait 1 minute, it is producing steam.

I bought this for my apartment which is hard wood throughout the kitchen, living room and dining areas. There is also tile in the bathroom of coure. With 2 small kids this made cleaning the house quick and easy. Mopping was time wasted, exhausting and half the clean. Im OVERLY satisfied with this purchase!

Great but...

If you somehow reinforce the handle, it would be perfect. Still love it just wish they handle wasn't so flimsy. I will recommend but know what you are getting, a great steamer with a handle that breaks and needs to be reinforced.
