    I bought this lens after the stock lens was not in stock. My original plan was to buy the stock lens for the camera body I wanted and then buy an additional lens for a longer distance range. This ended up working out great because I don't have to switch between two lenses. Overall, it has a great distance range and my pictures came out great. The color and clarity are really impressive.

    I couldn't pass up this deal, my local best buy was selling the display unit and had it marked down to $200, then I got it marked down to $120 and had $15 in rewards points. Walked out paying $113 and some change. The lens is actually pretty sharp throughout the zoom range and isn't too bulky or heavy. Perfect for a vacation/walk around lens to cover all major focal lenghths without having to change lenses.

    USED THIS LENS FOR CLOSE UPS & ZOOM IN BOTH DAYLIGHT,ONE RAINY OVERCAST DAY AND INDOOR SHOTS. PICTURE QUALITY WAS GREAT.THIS HAS BECOME THE ONLY LENS I USE NOW AS IT WILL COVER ALL SHOT NEEDS THAT I NEED.
